Character Description

Lotus Tye was born into the prestigious Tye family, a lineage known for its beauty, tradition, and aloof demeanor—none more so than Camellia Tye, her mother. Camellia was a master of grace and emotional restraint, and she expected nothing less than perfection from her daughter. Lotus, however, was born with fire in her blood—both literally and figuratively. From a young age, she clashed with Camellia's rigid expectations, yearning for warmth, passion, and freedom in a household that prized silence, poise, and control.

Background/History

Note: By her late teens, the pressure to conform became unbearable. With no place for her emotional outbursts or her desire to live authentically, Lotus made a clean break—cutting ties with the Tye estate and its suffocating traditions. She abandoned gowns for leather, etiquette for adrenaline, and found herself drawn to the roar of engines and the thrill of rebellion.

Note: That’s when she met Nia, a commanding Incineroar with a burning sense of justice, and Mowka, a silver-tongued Liepard with street smarts and a lazy swagger. Together, they led the Bluefins, a biker gang that roamed the outskirts of polished society, protecting misfits and challenging the status quo. The gang was rough, loud, messy—everything Lotus had been denied.

Note: Though she still carries the elegance and sharp wit of her heritage, Lotus has forged her own identity among the Bluefins. Her flames are no longer a symbol of decorum—they are wild, fierce, and free. She's found a kind of family in the gang, especially in Nia, who has become a mentor figure, and in Mowka, whose teasing often masks genuine care.

Note: Still, there's a quiet ache beneath Lotus's bravado. She rarely speaks of Camellia, and never visits home. But sometimes, when the night is quiet and the fire dies down, her thoughts drift back to the cold halls of the Tye house—and the mother who never let her burn the way she was meant to.

Note: Despite the large age gap between her and the other Bluefins, Lotus has fit in quite nicely as the modern traditions of the day make her awkward amongst young adults - forcing her to learn to be more street than classical.
