Character Description
Rose was a top-tier professional racer competing with a small independent team. Despite their best efforts, Rose could never finish higher than 3rd by the end of the season. However, she gained a reputation, a loyal following, and some notoriety for her ruthless racing style, always aiming to crush the competition. Wild rumors circulated about her, with some claiming she "buried" rivals permanently—an exaggeration stemming from a heated feud with a Raichu racer.

Background/History
One day, while scouting underground and amateur races for fresh talent, Rose, known as The Reaper, spotted a stylish Eevee named Darla. Darla had an edge, a southern charm that left people—especially men—eating out of her paws. What truly impressed Rose, though, was Darla’s effortless and near-perfect racing lines, especially when she lapped a sassy Delcatty twice after flipping her off in the pits. The girl had undeniable talent and flair—a rare combination in the racing world. But Rose couldn’t understand why Darla hadn’t gone pro.
After some digging, she found the answer: Darla was stuck with a deadbeat boyfriend who fancied himself her manager. The human was leeching off Darla’s talent and holding her back. Though Darla was strong enough to handle herself, she couldn’t see that her so-called “darlin’ beau” was more in love with money than her.
Determined to help, Rose took matters into her own hands—literally. After a heated confrontation that left Darla’s boyfriend with a broken arm, Rose’s message got through loud and clear. From that point on, a new partnership was forged, and Rose and Darla joined forces to take on the pros together.
Despite Darla setting the pro circuit ablaze with her talent, it wasn’t enough to secure a championship for her or Rose. Mechanical failures—blown engines, faulty transmissions, and a constant lack of parts—kept their small team from reaching the podium. Still, their skills and determination earned them a reputation as two of the best racers on tour.
Offers came pouring in from larger, well-funded teams, but Darla—now affectionately called “Darling” by Rose—remained loyal to the woman and the team that had given her a shot. Rose, ever fiercely independent, refused to sign with any big-name sponsor-backed team.
Forming Chromas
The Chromas traffic mostly in contraband goods, as well as stolen goods; they also were the one of top transporters for speed and versatility, especially through the savage lands, thanks to Kiko. Even though things do get violent from time to time, and every member can handle themselves in a fight (Carmella probably being the weakest in a fight or firefight); the Reaper and Darling try to keep the body count low. With that being said sometimes Rose does lose her temper and things can go sideways.
Note: The Chroma team was initially started by a leading underground racer and a top tier racer on the professional motorcycle racing circuit. Their names were Rose Pepper, aka The Reaper (an Espeon) and Darla Winchester aka Darlin’ (or Darling, an Eevee), though the idea was really spearheaded by Rose.
Note: Rose and Darla have developed a very close relationship, and while many of the girls are open with one another those two have the closest the gang has to an exclusive relationship.

Chromas Bike Gang (Holly, Koalani, Bailey, Darla, Gisella, Ashlee, Carmella, Peach)
The Chromas gang is a legitimate racing team of mainly Hybrids that has a suspected second darker side to them on the streets of the city.
The most violent and ruthless of the group (in no order) would be Rose, Kiko (not her desire, but is in her nature), Holly Halo and Bailey; while Rocket and Darlin (though she might make you wish for death, has a small sadistic streak that can come to the fore) are the most patient of the crew.
