Background/History

Captain Hoist believes firmly in the philosophy that strength governs all—whoever is strong enough has the right to take whatever they desire. His tribe, made up of 10 core members, functions more like a band of ruthless raiders under his command. However, Hoist’s power extends beyond his crew, as he holds nearly double that number in slaves who toil beneath the decks of his ships. While escaping to the shore might seem like an option for these captives, the treacherous, unforgiving terrain of the Deep Zone offers little hope. Even if they manage to break free, the brutal wilderness would most likely claim their lives, either through starvation or by being devoured by the predators lurking in the land and waters.

Note: Hoist has 3 ships under his control, 2 large raiding ships for quick ground assault and a smaller vessel used for night raids.

Note: Hoist covers his face most of the time with a veil due to the scars that litter his face.
