Character Description
Tack is a former Battleborn Elite who once served under Flay, a warrior whose reputation was built through discipline, brutality, and absolute loyalty. As one of Flay’s chosen fighters, Tack was shaped into a weapon—trained to endure impossible battles, follow orders without hesitation, and eliminate threats before they could endanger his tribe. His skills in combat made him one of the Sharktooth Raiders’ most reliable warriors, but his service came with a heavy burden. He was not simply a soldier; he was someone expected to make the hardest choices without allowing emotion to interfere.

Background/History
That expectation was put to the ultimate test when Tack was assigned as the personal bodyguard of Leiomano, the tribe’s Truthsayer. His orders were clear: if Leiomano was ever captured, manipulated, or used as a weapon against the Sharktooth Raiders, Tack was to kill her immediately rather than allow her knowledge and abilities to be turned against their people. It was a duty that required absolute resolve, as Leiomano’s gift made her invaluable to the tribe. Her ability to perceive truth and uncover deception meant she carried a level of importance few others could match, but it also made her a dangerous asset in the wrong hands.
At first, Tack treated his assignment as nothing more than another mission. He kept his distance, watched her carefully, and prepared himself for the possibility that one day he would have to carry out his command. However, time slowly changed the nature of their relationship. Long journeys, shared battles, and countless conversations turned an obligation into something far more complicated. What began as a warrior protecting a responsibility became a genuine connection between two people who understood each other in ways they never expected.
Over time, Tack and Leiomano developed a relationship that exists somewhere between friendship and something deeper. Their bond carries an unspoken closeness, a trust that neither of them easily gives to others. While neither has openly defined what they are to each other, there is a comfort between them that goes beyond duty. Tack knows that Leiomano is incapable of lying, meaning he could discover the truth of her feelings simply by asking her directly. Yet despite all the battles he has survived, all the enemies he has faced, and all the impossible choices he has made, Tack cannot bring himself to ask. The possibility that she does not love him terrifies him more than any battlefield ever has.
Tack may be genetically part something else that has been diluted over generations as a black sclera is not a normal Mightyena body trait.
