Jigen was born with a rare ability that immediately got him put into the ranks of the kingdom defense. His body has the ability to break apart into shards of an unidentifiable material, which is able to cut through most substances up to a level of 8 on the Moh's Hardness Scale. The shards seem to be both tangible and not, cutting through obstacles like paper. The drawback is that it leaves that particular limb useless until the shards return.
Termed 'Deconstruction,' this ability is only further enhanced by his Endocrine Adjustment--in his case, sliding a beaded sounding rod into his shaft multiplies the amount of shards his body produces from one limb.
