Adam The Forsaken was preparing a very special Chanukah Party, but Chanukah came late this year it would begin on December 25, 2024 and end on January 02, 2025.
It is difficult enough to get anyone to celebrate with when it comes before a major national holiday but even harder when it lands on not one, but two major national holidays.
Adam thought people had forgotten him and his event in favor of their own traditions when much to his shock Devon arrived.
Adam quickly sprang up from his sad position and gave him the biggest hug.
"Thank you for coming! I thought no one would come out for this."
He sniffled a little as tears subsided.
"Sorry, I think my allergies are acting up again."
Devon asked, "Do we get to play with the spinning top after we eat?"
Adam replied, "Yes, and unless anyone else shows up, we can have all the Chanukah Donuts we can eat."
Both gave a cheer as a fully lit Chanukiah behind them let light into his home and the candles gradually melted down while they played Sevivon and watched Chanukah movies and cartoons until eventually they passed out in his TV room.
