L: Once again, a new episode of Flood or Fact is coming up! Bulby, Zippy, Lenn, Nox, and returning winner Glacier have been invited to join in this time, and they all successfully arrived, with Nox having been provided special transportation to keep him out of the sunlight. Everyone is led into a waiting room as things are set up for them.
Lenn: "I've seen some episodes of this, it'll be cool to actually be in one!"
Nox: "The invitation I got was the first I heard of this, but it does seem neat."
S: Bulby - "Oh man, I've heard of this show and watched like 2 episodes, I'm actaully pretty excited about this!"
Zippy - "O-o-oh boy... I hope I don't regret accepting this invite, I'm pretty nervous about this show!"
Glacier - "Cant believe I got invited back to the show! I wonder if I'm gonna win again! But I'm pretty scared that I might end up drowning this time..."
L: Lenn: "Hopefully it'll all go well..."
Soon, the host comes in, an anthro blue jay. "Hello everyone, glad you all could make it today!"
Nox: "There you are! Hi!"
S: Bulby - "Oh, that must be the host, hi there!"
Zippy - "H-hi..."
Glacier - "Hello..."
L: Blue jay: "So, I imagine you all know the rules, but just in case, let me give a quick explanation: Answer questions correctly to keep your tank from filling with water, and drain it some if you get two in a row. If you don't answer at all, it's considered as if you got it wrong. If your tank's full and you inhale water, you're out of the game. Each of you will also have a special collar that sets your breath holding limit to two minutes."
Lenn: "Wait, two minutes? Maybe this won't be so easy..."
Nox: "Oh boy, I'm probably losing pretty quick..."
S: Bulby - "Oh jeez...I forgot about that rule... a collar? That's gonna be uncomfortable, is there an alternative?"
Zippy - "WHAT?!?!? No no no no no...oh no...I didn't know that!!! I'm starting to regret this already..."
Glacier - "Yeah yeah I knew about that, I already have my own accommodations as I don't want a collar either..."
L: Blue jay: "Ah, yes, I've been told that you prefer the goggles, Glacier. As for you Bulby, we've got plenty of alternative options you can have a look through. And Zippy, try not to worry too much, just focus on answering the questions and you'll be just fine."
Lenn: "Hey, not like I've been on land all that long, you probably won't be last."
Nox: "And I don't know a whole lot about Earth, either."
S: Glacier - "Perfect! I'll definitely feel better once I have those on"
Bulby - "Ok cool! Show me what options you have then"
Zippy - "I-i-i still don't know about this... I'm really scared... there better not be any academic based questions...didn't really do all that well in school..."
L: Lenn: "Apparently there's a variety of questions, so... Probably."
Blue jay: "Yep, Lenn's got it right. Anyway, we've got goggles like Glacier's getting, ankle bands, flippers... All sorts of stuff!"
Nox: "I'm fine with a collar. Can't really be goggles, already got my sungoggles on."
S: Zippy - "Oh no...I'm so screwed...I'm gonna fail miserably and drown...I just know it! Maybe I shouldnt do this game show after all... drowning is gonna be extreamly traumatizing for mr if it happens... and I dont wanna risk it..."
Glacier - "Hey now... I'll be ok! I was really scared myself the first time, and look what happened, I thought I was gonna get last but I actually ended up winning!"
Bulby - "Think I'll take the goggles too then, hehe...you look cool with those sungoggles on tho Nox!"
L: Nox: "Thanks! They're pretty helpful, I'd be squinting this whole time without them." He and Lenn each take a collar.
Lenn: "Just do your best, Zippy, there's no real danger here."
Blue jay: "Yep! The water is specially enchanted, and it gives just enough oxygen to keep you alive once you pass out."
S: Zippy sighs heavily
Zippy - "I still don't know, but fine... I'll give it a try I guess..." he also takes a collar as well
bulby and Glacier each take their pairs of goggles and puts them on
Glacier - "Nothing to it Zippy! You'll do great I know it!"
Bulby - "Yeah!"
L: Nox: "And hey, apparently being on a show like this is a big deal!"
Blue jay: "I'd certainly say so! I was pretty excited to be contacted for hosting this!"
S: "Apparently so! I've never been on a gameshow in my whole life!"
Zippy - "Me neither... maybe this won't be too bad then..."
Glacier - "We'll have fun!"
L: Blue jay: "So, you guys all ready to head out there, or do you have any other questions?"
Lenn: "I'm good to go."
Nox: "Same here."
S: Glacier - "I think I'm ready... hopefully things go just as well as last time..."
Bulby - "I'm good to go!"
Zippy - "....I'm ready as I'll ever be..." Zippy has a fearful look on his face but tries to act brave
L: Blue jay: "Alright, let's head to the stage!" He leads the group to the stage, where a curtain is still down. "Everyone pick a tank, please."
Of the 5 tanks, Lenn picks the far left, while Nox picks the far right.
S: Glacier picks the tank in the middle, while Zippy gets into the tank next to Nox, feeling a bit more comfortable with his friend next to him...and bulby takes the one next to Lenn
L: The blue jay nods. "Alright, and 3, 2, 1..." The curtain goes up, and the show begins. "Hello everyone, and welcome to today's episode of Flood or Fact!"
There's applause from the crowd, which also happens to include Bulby's friend Axew!
S: bulby happens to see axew and his mouth drops open
Bulby - "Wait...is that...Axew?!?!? Omg!! I did NOT see that coming!"
Zippy - "O-oh boy..."
Glacier - "Here we go!!"
L: Axew doesn't seem to have expected to see Bulby either, and he excitedly waves to them.
Blue jay: "You all know the rules, so let's get to the quick interviews." He goes to Lenn's tank. "First up, Lenn. How are you feeling about your odds?"
Lenn: "Decent, I suppose. I think I at least won't be last."
Blue jay: "Well, not being last is all you can really hope for, right?" He goes to Bulby's tank next. "How about you, Bulby?"
S: Bulby - "Well, considering my best friend Axew is in the audience right now cheering me on which I didnt expect, I say I got a really good chance at winning this thing! Hi Axew!!!! Hehe!!"
L: Axew: "Hi Bulby!" He happily waves again.
Blue jay: "Haha, definitely good to have some emotional support!" He heads to Glacier next. "So, Glacier, you won the last time you were here. Think you'll be able to turn that into a winning streak?"
S: bulby happily waves back at Axew
Glacier - "Hopefully! I certainly want to have a win streak! I really don't wanna drown... so I'm crossing my paws that I'll be able to do this!"
L: Blue jay: "It'd certainly be pretty cool if you managed it!" Next, Zippy's tank. "Zippy, you're pretty nervous about this, but hopefully you'll do okay, right?"
S: Zippy - "I-i don't know... I really don't wanna drown, I'll traumatize me if that happens! But at least I'm next to my friend Nox...hope that helps somehow..."
L: Blue jay: "I hope so too, and I'm sure you'll find some amount of fun in this eventually." Lastly, Nox's tank. "Nox... You're not from Earth, right? That might be an issue for you here..."
Nox: "Yeah, I'm worried about that. I'll at least try my best."
Blue jay: "Hopefully you at least won't be last." He goes back to the middle of the stage. "And, with that... Contestants, are you ready to get started?"
Lenn: "Yep, let's get going!"
Nox: "Hopefully I won't be the first out!"
S: Bulby - "Let's do this!!! Axew I'm winning this for you buddy!"
Glacier - "Let's get it on!!!
Zippy - "O-oh boy, getting started already?? Alright...l-lets go I guess..."
L: Blue jay: "Then here we go, first question! What year was Minecraft released?"
Nox: "I don't even know what that is... 2017?"
Lenn: "Even I know that's 2011."
S: Bulby - "Aww man I remember Minecraft... me and axew used to play it all the time! It's 2011!"
Zippy - "Uhhh 2012?"
Glacier - "2011...i-i think..."
L: Blue jay: "The right answer's 2011!" Both Nox and Zippy have their tanks fill by 1/5.
Nox: "Ugh, off to a bad start already..."
S: Zippy - "What?! Off by one year! This isn't good..."
Glacier - "Whoo hoo got it right!"
Bulby - "Easy!"
L: Blue jay: "Alright, next up: Who currently has the world record for the highest BASE jump?"
Lenn: "No idea..."
Nox: "Yep, still got nothing myself."
S: Bulby - "Huh? I don't know!"
Glacier - "Hmm... that's a tricky one... wasn't it like Valery Rozov or something?"
Zippy - "I have no clue... oh no..." Zippy starts to tear up at the fact he's gonna get another one wrong
L: Blue jay: "Glacier's the only one that got it, it's Valery Rozov!" Everyone but Glacier has their tank fill by 1/5.
Lenn: "Man, that was so obscure!"
Nox: "Come on, I have to get at least ONE!"
S: Bulby - "What?!?! How did Glacier get that?!"
Zippy - "L-lucky..." Zippy is starting to get more sad by the minute
Glacier - "Haha!! In your face! Your not gonna beat me today!"
L: Blue jay: "Hang in there, you've still got a chance! Next, in the Zelda games, what are the health upgrade items called?"
Lenn: "Pretty sure those are heart containers."
Nox: "Oh, that sounds cool... Yeah, I'm going with heart containers."
S: Bulby - "Heart Containers, I'm pretty sure"
Zippy - "Heath? I don't know..."
Glacier - "Heart Containers"
L: Blue jay: "Everyone but Zippy got it!" Zippy's tank fills to 3/5, while everyone else's stays the same for now.
Lenn: "Nice, another one down."
Nox: "Finally, I got one! You okay, Zippy?"
S: Zippy - "Nooooooo!!!!!! Why am I getting such bad luck!?!?" Zippy gets super emotional as he breaks down in tears
Glacier - "Uh oh..."
Bulby - "Aww poor Zippy :("
L: Blue jay: "Aw, Zippy... If you want to stop, you can. You wouldn't be the first to do that."
Nox: "I wouldn't blame you, I'm getting nervous too. Never drowned before..."
Lenn: "You might end up being fine though, people make comebacks on here every now and then."
S: Glacier - "Yep and I'm one of them! I thought i was gonna drown but I didn't! You never know Zippy!"
Bulby - "Yeah it's ok! Don't be sad..."
Zippy - "I-i honestly don't know what to do anymore...I don't wanna come last but I keep getting the questions wrong!"
L: Nox: "Hey, I'm not exactly very confident about my chances either. Honestly, that last one was just a guess! But, if you do end up drowning, I'll do my best to comfort you after."
Lenn: "Same here!"
Blue jay: "Everyone's rooting for you to keep trying, Zippy!"
S: Zippy whimpers, his tank is already 3/5 full, and only needs two wrong answers to put him underwater...
"Oh fine... the questions better get easier then!"
Glacier - "You've got this!"
Bulby - "Yeah!"
L: Nox: "Nice, there you go!"
Lenn: "Hopefully it won't be as hard, yeah!"
Blue jay: "Well, we'll just have to see... Let's get back to it. What's 127 plus 238?"
Nox: "That's... 365."
Lenn: "355, I think."
S: Zippy - "Nooo not math!!! Uhhhh... 363?! Please tell me that's right!!"
Bulby - "Ooooh, math was never my strongest suit...327?"
Glacier - "I'm pretty sure it's 365"
L: Blue jay: "Oh, Zippy was so close... It's 365. Nox, with two in a row, gets his tank drained a level!" Lenn and Bulby's tanks fill to 2/5, Zippy's goes to 4/5, and Nox's drains to 1/5. Glacier's remains empty.
Nox: "Nice, starting to do better now..."
Lenn: "Ah, I was close..."
S: Zippy - "Oh COME on!!!!!!" Zippy whimpers as he doesn't have a lot of room left in his tank, starting to cry again
Bulby - "Dang it... saw that coming"
Glacier - "I'm happy I got it right, but Zippy definitely doesn't seem to be doing all that well...I feel so bad for him..."
L: Nox: "Remember, it's not over if you go underwater!"
Lenn: "Yeah, you can still drain it again if you get two in a row!"
Blue jay: "Don't give up, no matter how bad it gets!"
S: Zippy - "I don't know if I'm gonna be able to get a single question right! I'm doomed!"
Bulby and Glacier - "Don't give up!"

Lenn: "Um... 5."

Lenn: "Yep, it was done by a Cuvier's beaked whale!"
S: Bulby - "Wow...that's insane!"
Zippy - "YES!!!!"
Glacier - "Phew...close one..."

Nox: "Zippy, you're really starting to turn it around!"
S: Bulby - "Oh no!!! I didn't think this would be coming so soon!" bulby now gets a little scared but he takes a deep breath and holds it before he's forced underwater, looking at axew in the audience nervously
Zippy - "How did I not end up being the first one under?! Arceus is on my side today I guess..."
Glacier - "Yikes! Bulby is under... hopefully he can answer enough questions to get a breath... really thought it was 55..."
L: Axew: "Uh oh... Keep trying, Bulby!"
Blue jay: "True or false: The biggest living thing in the world is a seaweed plant."
Lenn: "True, think I heard of that."
Nox: "False, blue whales are the biggest."
S: Zippy - "Uhhhh...true?"
Glacier - "False?"

L: Blue jay: "Everyone but Nox and Bulby got it!" Lenn's tank drains by 1/5, while Nox's begins to fill the rest of the way.
Nox: "Here we go..." He takes a deep breath while he can, and holds it as he entirely submerges.
Lenn: "Got more room now, good..."
Axew: "Hang in there, Bulby! You still have a chance!"
S: "Gblrrr...." bulby's expression is cute and innocent, he definitely doesn't wanna drown today for sure, not in front of his bestie
Glacier - "Got that one!"
Zippy - "No sonic question gets past me!"
L: Blue jay: "How many pieces of Pez does a typical Pez dispenser hold?"
Lenn: "Ugh, I have no idea... 8?"
Nox clearly doesn't even know what Pez is. "Tebln?"
S: Bulby - "12!!"
Zippy - "Uhh, I don't eat Pez... I'm gonna say 10"
Glacier - "11?"
L: Blue jay: "They hold 12! Bulby's the only one that got it!" Lenn, Glacier and Zippy each have their tanks fill by 1/5, putting them at 4/5, 4/5, and 3/5 respectively.
Lenn: "Yeah, I was way off..."
Nox just grumbles, trying to save his air.
S: Bulby - "Ybles!"
Glacier - "Uh oh... my tank is almost full! Not this again!!!!"
Zippy - "Seems my luck has run out..."
L: Blue jay: "What was the first 3D game in the Metroid franchise to be 3D?"
Lenn sighs. "The... Third one, I don't know."
Nox: "M-Mebltroblid Prblime?"
S: Bulby - "Metblroid...p-primble...mmm!" bulby's face was turning blue as he constantly let's out bubbles
Glacier - "Uhhh, metroid prime?"
Zippy - "I'm pretty sure it's metroid prime"
L: Blue jay: "Everyone but Lenn's got it! Sorry Lenn, but it's not the third game. Bulby, you're one step closer to air!" Lenn's tank starts filling to the top, while there's no change for anyone else's tanks right now.
Lenn: "Ah well, here we go..." He gasps through his blowhole before holding his breath once his tank's full.
Nox smiles as he starts blushing.
S: Bulby - "Mmmblbl!!!"
Glacier - "Phew...too close..."
Zippy - "Thank arceus"
L: Blue jay: "When was the microwave invented?"
Lenn: "...1950?"
Nox, not knowing what to say, goes with what Lenn said. "1950."
S: "Ugh not a history question...um, 1947?"
Glacier - "Um...1952?"
Bulby - "1947!!!! Blblbl!!!" bulby's face was purple at this point
L: Blue jay: "The answer's 1947! Get ready, Glacier!" Zippy's tank drains to 2/5 full, while Glacier's starts filling to the top.
Lenn: "Darn it, gotta go so long now..." He's beginning to blush now.
Nox whimpers, knowing he doesn't have much chance now as his face is red.
S: Glacier - "What?!?! No no no oh no!!!! Glacier whimpers sadly as he watches the water start to rise to fill the top, he quickly gasps a deep breath before he's forced under, definitely a lot more scared then he was before
bulby meanwhile isn't sure if he's gonna be able to make it, with a fully purple face he tries everything to keep his air in, looking at Axew as his only mean of motivation
Zippy - "That was a complete lucky guess...wait, am I only one who hasn't gone under yet?? There's no way..."
L: Axew: "Just one more, Bulby! You can do it!"
Blue jay: "Yep, you're the only one, Zippy! Now, next question, true or false: There's an attachment for the Wii that lets it play Gamecube games."
Lenn: "...No, there isn't, false."
Nox: "Fablse!"
S: Bulby - "Mmmm....blbl!!! Fblalse!!!!!"
Zippy - "That's false"
Glacier - "Fblalse..."
L: Blue jay: "All of you have got it! The Wii can play Gamecube games on its own! Now, Bulby, you've earned yourself some air!" Just in time, Bulby's tank drains to 4/5, while everyone else's don't change right now.
Lenn: "Oh, nice one!"
Axew: "Way to go, Bulby!"
Nox nervously looks over at Zippy as his chest heaves.
S: bulby gasps in the air just before he could inhale water and pants heavily
Bulby - "Oh man...t-that was too close!!! Oh air..."
Zippy turns to Nox and frowns
Zippy - "Uh oh...nox is really struggling... hang in there my friend!"
Glacier - "Gblood..."
L: Blue jay: "How long ago was the Jurassic period? Any time in the range of it will work for this."
Lenn: "200 million years ago?"
Nox: "190 miblliobln yeblars agblo!"
S: Bulby - "220 million years ago?"
Glacier - "170 mblillon yblears ablgo?"
Zippy - "Uhhh...shoot... um, 300 million years ago?"
L: Blue jay: "It lasted between 201 million years ago and 145 million years ago! Looks like you're back under, Bulby, and Glacier's got air again!" Bulby's tank starts filling to the top again while Glacier's drains to 4/5 and Zippy's fills to 3/5.
Lenn: "T-two more..." His face is fully red now.
Nox: "Mmmh!" His face is going blue now.
S: (copy over)
L: Axew: "It's okay, you did it once and you can do it again!"
Blue jay: "Name any system other than PC that has at least one Sims game."
Lenn: "G-Gamecube."
Nox: "Gablmecblube!"
S: Bulby - "PblS2?"
Zippy - "Sims? I don't even know that game! I'll take a wild guess....PS4?"
Glacier - "Gamecube!"
L: Blue jay: "There's Sims games on Gamecube, Gameboy Advance, PS2, and Wii!" Zippy's tank fills to 4/5, no one else's changes right now.
Lenn: "O-okay, one more!"
Nox doesn't say anything, just trying to cover his mouth as he continually loses bubbles. He's certain he's going to lose now, but keeps holding his breath out of spite.
S: Zippy - "Uh oh, it's almost full! No!!"
Glacier - "Phew..."
Bulby - "Gblood..."
L: Blue jay: "Seems like you might not be the only one to not have gone under much longer, Zippy... Next, with computer stuff, what are sets of ones and zeros called?"
Lenn: "U-um... Binary!"
Nox: "Ibl-itbl's biblnarbly!"
S: Zippy - "Binary?"
Glacier - "I'm pretty sure that's binary code
Bulby - "Biblinary cblode?"
L: Blue jay: "Everyone got it, it's binary! That'll be air for you again, Glacier!" Glacier and Zippy each have their tank drain by one level.
Lenn: "J-just two more questions..." His face is now turning blue.
Nox doesn't say anything again as his face now goes purple.
S: Glacier gasps in for air
Glacier - "Finally...air..."
Bulby - "Ablmost...thblere..."
Zippy - "Phew..."
L: Blue jay: "When was Super Mario Bros released?"
Lenn: "Th-think it's 1985..."
Nox can't bring himself to say anything, sitting down and shivering from his need to breathe as he ineffectually tries to cover his mouth.
S: Bulby - "1985?"
Zippy - "Uhhhhh, 1990?"
Glacier - "1985?"
L: Blue jay: "1985! That's a drain for Bulby, a filling for Zippy, and-" Before he can finish, Nox finally reaches his limit and exhales all his air before gasping water, starting to drown! "Ah, we've got our first loss of the day!"
Lenn smiles as little, glad he definitely won't come in last, before he shudders as his 30 second mental countdown starts.
Nox frantically swims up to the top of his tank, banging on it as he chokes.
S: Zippy - "Oh no! Nox!!! Ugh... don't tell me I'm going under..."
Glacier - "Uh oh"
bulby gasps for air
Bulby - "Finally!"
L: Blue jay: "Ah, yep, you're finally going under!" The water starts going up to the top of Zippy's tank.
S: Zippy - "Noooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Zippy starts crying as he watches his tank go up, he takes a fearful gasp of air and holds it before he's forced underwater, whimpering loudly
Glacier - "I kinda of saw Nox being the first one out, I feel bad..."
Bulby - "Poor Zippy...he looks terrified..."
L: Blue jay: "Sorry Zippy, but hardly anyone goes a whole game without going under... Let's keep going. True or false: Nintendo started out making playing cards before video games."
Lenn: "T-true!" He puts a hand over his blowhole, his face turning purple.
As Nox weakens from drowning, he manages to look over at Zippy, panting water as he realizes they've finally gone underwater.
S: Zippy continues to whimper and whine, he doesn't wanna drown
Zippy - "T-trblue..." he's still crying
Bulby - "False, there's no way..."
Glacier - "I'm gonna say false too..."
L: Blue jay: "It's true! And with that, Lenn gets air, while Bulby and Glacier are going under again!" Bulby and Glacier's tanks start filling to their tops.
The water in Lenn's tank drains to 4/5, and he desperately gasps, panting as the colors of his face go back to normal. "M-man, that was too close..."
Nox doesn't have the energy to struggle any more, sinking back down and slumping to one side, drowned and unconscious.
S: Bulby and Glacier - "Oh no not again!!!!" both of them gasp a deep breath and hold it before the water fills all the way up, bulby once again looking at Axew as his only motivation
Zippy continues to cry, but it's a bit less then before knowing he got a question right
L: Axew: "You can do it, Bulby!"
Blue jay: "Looks like we might be getting close to the end here, huh? So, next question: How many remakes does the first Final Fantasy have?"
Lenn: "It's really old, um... 3."
S: Zippy - "2?"
Bulby - "3?"
Glacier - "Uhhh...2?"
L: Blue jay: "It's 2! Looks like it's back under for Lenn, and Zippy's managed to already drain his tank again!" Lenn's tank starts filling the rest of the way, and Zippy's goes back to 4/5.
Lenn: "Ugh, already!?" He holds his breath once again.
S: Zippy scrambles to the surface and gasps for breath
Zippy - "Never again, I don't wanna go back under again!"
Bulby - "Lucblky..."
Glacier - "Hmmph!"
L: Blue jay: "Then you'd better keep getting them right, Zippy! Next up: What's the smallest country in the world?"
Lenn: "Think it's called Vatican City."
S: Zippy - "Oh no, geography...I don't know!"
Bulby - "Nblo ibldea..."
Glacier - "Vblatican cblity?"
L: Blue jay: "It's Vatican City! Sorry Zippy, but you're going back underwater. Glacier though, you've drained your tank!" Zippy's tank fills, while Glacier's drains.
Lenn: "Okay, one more, should be fine..."
S: Zippy - "Nooooooo!!!!!! Not again!!!!!!" Zippy whimpers and whines again as he takes a deep breath and holds it before the tank fills up
Glacier meanwhile gasps for breath
Glacier - "Phew..."
Bulby - "Grrblbl!" bulby is already blushing a bit
L: Blue jay: "When was the last issue of the magazine Nintendo Power released?"
Lenn: "Crap, don't know what that is. 2022?"
S: Zippy - "I dblont kblnow! 2017?"
Glacier - "I'm pretty sure the last one was 2012"
Bulby - "2013?"
L: Blue jay: "Only Glacier got it, it was in 2012!" The water levels remain the same, but now Bulby has quite a lot of work to do to recover.
Lenn: "It's fine, I came back from this once already..." He's beginning to blush again.
S: bulby looks at Axew again nervously, bubbling out air as he doesn't wanna be close to his limit again, his face growing more red
Glacier - "Phew! Got it!"
Zippy - "Nblo!!!!" zippy's own face is flushing red too, he looks over at Nox's drowned body and yelps out more bubbles in fear at it, he certainly doesn't wanna drown
L: Axew: "I think you've still got a chance as long as you don't miss another!"
Blue jay: "It'll definitely be close... So, in the Zelda games, which one has the most bottle items?"
Lenn: "That's... Majora's Mask."
S: Zippy - "I-i dblont knblow! I've nblever plblayed zelblda!"
Bulby - "Um...uhblhhh!"
Glacier - "Dang it...never played Zelda... wait, it is Majora's Mask? That's the only game I know"
L: Just in time, Axew holds up a paper that says "Majora's Mask", trying his best to angle it so only Bulby sees it.
S: bulby just barely manages to see the paper Axew held up and then he quickly reacts
Bulby - "Majblora's mablsk!"
L: Thankfully, no one else seems to notice the paper.
Blue jay: "Just in time! Yep, it's Majora's Mask! Another drain for Glacier!" Glacier's tank goes to 3/5 full.
Lenn focuses on continuing to hold his breath, staying quiet as his face goes fully red.
S: Bulby - "Phblew..." bulby nods at axew
Glacier - "Yes!!!
Zippy meanwhile whimpers
L: Axew winks at Bulby.
Blue jay: "Plus or minus 2 degrees, what is the lowest recorded temperature on Earth, in either Celsius or Fahrenheit?"
Lenn: "...Negative 89 Celsius."
S: Bulby - "Negatblive 128F?"
Glacier - "Easy, -128 degrees Fahrenheit!"
Zippy - "Uhhhbl... -89C?"
L: Blue jay: "Everyone got it! Lenn, just two more right answers and you'll get air again!" No one has their water level change right now, though Lenn and Bulby are one step closer to draining enough to breathe.
Lenn: "And not a moment too soon..."
S: Bulby - "Pblerfect..."
Zippy - "F-finblally gblot onble, mmm!" Zippy covers his mouth, his face fully red as he hopes to get air himself soon
Glacier - "Alright!"
L: Blue jay: "In Terraria, who is the first character the player will meet?"
Lenn: "Th-the... The Guide, I think?"
S: Bulby - "Ublh oblh...i-ive nblever plblayed thblat gblame" bulby looks at Axew, wondering if he knows what it is, he can't remember if he played it one time
Zippy - "Uhhhbl... ibl dblont kblnow!! Tblhe gublide?" he pretty much copied what Lenn said
Glacier - "Im pretty sure it's the Guide"
L: Axew looks nervous as he tries to think... He just mouths "I'm sorry" to Bulby.
Blue jay: "It's the Guide! Everyone but Bulby got it!" Glacier's tank drains to 2/5, with Zippy now closer to getting air.
Lenn: "O-one more..." He's getting a blue blush now as he starts to struggle.
S: Bulby - "Cblome on!"
Glacier - "Phew..."
Zippy - "h-hblow!? Wblow!"
L: Blue jay: "How many different official soccer ball sizes are there?"
Lenn: "...Just one, right?"
S: Bulby - "1?"
Glacier - "There's no way there are more sizes then 1 right?"
Zippy - "2?"
L: Blue jay: "There's 5, as weird as that sounds!" Glacier's tank fills back to 3/5.
Lenn: "Who would know that!? MMM!" His eyes go wide as his mental countdown starts again.
S: "5?! Ublgh..." Zippy's face is deeply blue, he really doesn't wanna drown, he looks at the host and shakes his head at him as he covers his mouth
Glacier - "Dang it... oh well..."
Bulby - "Nblo!!" bulby's face is fully red
L: Blue jay: "Things really aren't going so well for you folks with full tanks... But, next question: How many Stars are in Mario 64?"
Lenn: "120, I-I think!"
S: Zippy - "120!"
Bulby - "N-nblever plblayed mablrio 64... ohhbl..."
Glacier - "120, I'm pretty sure"
L: Blue jay: "There's 120 of them!" All water levels stay the same this time.
Lenn whimpers as he fights to keep holding his breath, trembling all over...
S: Zippy looks at the host desperately, whimpering as constant bubbles escape him
Bulby - "Mmmm!!!" bulby's face is turning slightly blue, looking at Axew with a worried expression
Glacier - "Hehe..."
L: Axew: "U-um... I-I don't think it's gonna be okay, Bulby..." He knows Bulby would have to somehow last long enough to get 12 right answers in a row now...
Blue jay: "How long is the longest straight road in the world, in kilometers or miles?"
Lenn: "...I...I-I don't know..." He quickly covers his blowhole as his countdown ends. His mouth repeatedly opens and closes as his body tries to breathe, but it can't with his blowhole covered.
S: Glacier - "the heck? I don't know!"
Zippy - "I-i dblont kblnow!!!"
Bulby - "159 mbliles!" bulby is thankful he knew the answer, but with his face turning more blue, he knows he won't last too much longer, and he starts to cry, sinking to the bottom of the tank
L: Blue jay: "Bulby's got it!" Glacier's tank fills to 4/5.
Just after that, Lenn frantically swims to beat on the glass of his tank, in the process uncovering his blowhole and taking a huge gasp of water!
Blue jay: "Oh, there goes Lenn! Just 3 contestants left now!"
S: Glacier - "Oh no!"
Bulby - "I....cblant...tblake it abyblmore!" bulby unexpectedly couldn't hold his breath anymore and he gasps in water himself! Now he's drowning right in front of Axew
Zippy however is still holding on... for now, as a matter of fact, he's made himself a little tiny pocket of stale air from his lungs at the top of the tank, and his little head thankfully reached up and gasp it in, being careful not to inhale too much
L: Axew: "Bulby!!"
Blue jay: "Ah, make that 2 left! And look at Zippy being clever over there! Let's not delay too long... In all of the Pokemon franchise, what was the first second-generation Pokemon to appear?"
Lenn coughs up the last of his air in his struggles before he inhales again, quickly looking around for any way out, but of course finding nothing.
S: Zippy - "The....answer...is...ho- oh!" he takes small breathes from his response
Glacier - "Uhhh...Lugia?"
Bulby - "Axglew!!!!!!" bulby sinks to the bottom, still managing to look at axew with a tearful look, he wants nothing more to get outta here and give Axew a big hug, he looks at the host again, he silently wants them to take bulby out, he's already suffered enough and all he wants is to be with his bestie and watch the rest of the show...he tries to act cute while he's still conscious, hoping they will somehow manage to convince them, in fact he tries to act very cute to the whole audience so they can all agree, wow!
L: Blue jay: "It was Ho-oh! Glacier's going under again! And, you know... It's a bit irregular, but... Audience, what would you think of Bulby being let out early?" With applause from the audience - and cheering from Axew - it's settled. Bulby's tank is drained of water, letting him breathe.
Lenn watches that, jealous, as his body almost seems to hiccup as he weakens.
S: Glacier - "What!??! No way!! I thought for sure it was Lugia! Ugh!" Glacier takes a deep breath as his tank fills up
bulby coughs out some water and gasps heavily at the air, climbing out of the tank
Bulby - "Hah...hah... t-thank you so much for doing that... i-im just gonna be in the audience..." bulby stumbles a bit before getting up and walking over to axew
Zippy - "Yes!! Come...on!!"
L: Axew gives Bulby a hug once they come over. "You tried your best, at least..."
Blue jay: "What time of day is referred to as the "Witching Hour"?"
Lenn slumps to the bottom of his tank, sitting down as he only weakly breathes. It's most likely only by virtue of being a dolphin that he's lasting this long, but he looks absolutely exhausted and ready to pass out.
S: bulby hugs axew back, still panting a bit
Bulby - "Y-yeah, least they let me get out and be with you.." he sits down next to Axew
Glacier - "3am tblo 4blam?"
Zippy - "3am...to....4am" he's running out of air in his little pocket and he hopes he'll be able to last long enough for some more fresh air
L: Blue jay: "Yep, you've both got it!" There's no change in water levels for now, Glacier needing one more answer to get air and Zippy needing 6 more.
Lenn finally can't stay awake any more, passing out at last.
S: Glacier - "Poblor Lenbln..."
eventually the air in zippy's pocket runs out completely, he has no use for it anymore, so he takes a final breath and holds it before diving back under, his face is now fully red instead of blue
L: Blue jay: "When was the first Metroid game released?"
S: Glacier - "19....82?"
Zippy - "1986? I havble no ibldea" Zippy has used up so much energy in his lungs that his face is quickly turning fully blue again, sinking to the bottom of the tank and covering his mouth
Bulby - "Wow, so both Glacier and Zippy are underwater, things are getting interesting"
L: Axew: "Yep, it's definitely the last stretch now."
Blue jay: "It was 1986! Man, this is really anyone's game!"
S: "I think Glacier is gonna win, just look how blue Zippy's face looks, there's no way he's gonna last that long!"
out of the blue, Glacier accidently let's out a big sneeze, causing lots of air to escape him and his face just as blue as zippy's! Now they are neck and neck!
"Whoa!"
Zippy - "Hbluh?!"
L: Axew: "Oh wow, that's pretty bad!"
Blue jay: "Oof, that's really gonna be costing Glacier! We'd better keep this moving. What is the strongest telescope ever made?"
S: Glacier - "Grrr cublrsed thblese allblergies... I doblnt kblnow..."
Zippy - "Webb sblpace tblelescope..." both Glacier and zippy's faces are turning slowly purple, this is really gonna come down to the wire!
L: Blue jay: "Zippy's got it! 4 more right answers for him to breathe, and now 6 for Glacier!"
S: now here comes trouble, even tho Zippy got the right answer, that last one used up the rest of his air, and now both Glacier and Zippy seemingly inhale water at the exact same time! Leaving everyone to wonder who the heck is gonna be the winner
L: Blue jay: "Oh! Guess that'll be it! That was practically a photo finish... Well, good thing we've got something for when this happens, we go off whoever was closest to getting air. And that means... Zippy is today's winner!" Zippy's tank drains of water as the audience applauds.
S: Zippy gasps in for air and coughs out the water he inhaled, and when he heard he won, his mouth drops open
"Wait what?!?! I WON!?!??! No way!!!! N-no way!!!!!" his tail wags excitingly
Glacier - "....cbkurses..."
L: Zippy's tank is opened so he can get out.
Blue jay: "Looks like you really didn't have much to worry about after all!"
S: Zippy climbs out of the tank, then he runs around the stage at high speed happily
Zippy - "I WON!!! I WON!!!! I CANT BELIEVE I WON!!!!!"
L: Nearly the whole audience is surprised at Zippy's speed, and even the host is speechless for a moment.
Blue jay: "...Do you want to give any kind of speech, or just wrap up the show here?"
S: "A speech? Well..." he stops his running and goes to the front of the audience
"First of all, yes...this is my natural speed, I was born like that, it's like im sonic or something! And also, I'm glad I decided to come on this show, while I felt bad for everyone that drowned, especially my friend Nox... I'm just happy they will be safe and all, when in doubt don't give up! Eeeeee!! I CANT BELIEVE I WON!!!!!"
L: There's another round of applause.
Blue jay: "And that'll be all for today's episode of Flood or Fact! Thank you all for coming! Bulby, make sure to come backstage as soon as you can!" He bows, and the curtain covers the stage once again before all the tanks are drained of water.
S: Bulby - "That's my cue buddy...I'll be right back" he hugs axew again and runs backstage
meanwhile, Glacier coughs up water and tears up at the thoughts of losing
Glacier - "Dang it! I can't believe I lost!! Well, at least I got 2nd place..."
Zippy is still so giddy from winning
L: Lenn and Nox begin coming back to consciousness, coughing up water themselves.
Lenn: "M-man, I need to learn more... A-about the surface world..."
Nox: "A-at least I did better... Th-than I thought I would..."
S: Zippy - "Nox!!!" Zippy quickly goes over and hugs him, happy that he's safe
"I won the game Nox! You should have seen it! Now I'm gonna get some kind of cool prize!"
L: Nox: "Oh, good work!" He hugs Zippy back, and manages to stand up. "Hopefully I don't end up too jealous, heh..."
Lenn gets up as well, getting out of his tank. "Guess we ought to head and see what we get."
Blue jay: "Yep! We'll just be heading back to where we talked before this for that."
S: Glacier - "Alright, hope I get something decent"
Bulby - "Yeah"
Zippy - "Let's go!"
and so they all head back to where they started with the blue jay
L: Blue jay: "So, Zippy, your prize... It's an all-expenses-paid trip for you and a friend to Hydropolis, a water-based theme park with underwater rides!"
Lenn: "Oh wow, I've heard that place is really cool!"
Nox: "Never heard of it, but it does sound neat!"
S: "Huh?!?! Whoa! That sounds awesome!!!! I can't wait to experience that!"
Glacier - "Jeez, I'm jealous!"
Bulby - "Lucky! That sounds so fun!"
L: Blue jay: "It'll be in a couple weeks, so take your time to decide who to bring with you for the trip."
Nox: "Never been to a theme park before... Oh, but that's probably a daytime thing..."
S: Zippy - "Mmhm, it is... I'm sure I'll think of somebody...I've got plenty of time..."
L: Blue jay: "Well, with that, I believe we're done for today. Thanks for coming, everyone! Nox, someone will come by to help you find a good dark spot soon."
Nox: "Alright, good. See you guys later!" He removes his collar.
Lenn: "Yep, bye for now!" He takes off his collar as well, then heads out.
S: Glacier and bulby takes off their goggles
Glacier - "Until next time"
Bulby - "Bye bye!"
Zippy - "See ya!"
they all head out too
