Know what? I'm not going to finish it...
Why?
The usual reasons, mostly, but also because FA has me uncomfortable with my own art.
Let it be clear I'm NOT saying FA is the reason I'm not finishing this comic, but FA has had some bearing on my decision.
That is, my art is terrible as it is---it takes a lot of willpower just to DRAW these days, yet alone upload any of it. Now you compound that with anxiety about its content (which several watchers already consider prudish) and ANY semblance of fun I might derive from an upload such as this goes straight to Hell.
TL;DR: I'm not going to feel worse about my art than I already do
But given this is likely the *last drawing I'll do this month, I may as well show what I made.
*there's a VERY high chance there'll be no art for Christmas, but we'll see.
GENE: "It's great you're spending the weekend with me, Tasli! Now you'll see the Water Pet really does come alive at bathtime!"
TASLI (riffling through drawer): "Yeah, yeah---hey, you got any of those little flower-shaped soaps?"
/Gene sees the water pet come to life behind Tasli's back/
/The mischievous water pet slaps Tasli's bottom/
TASLI (turning to face Gene; angry): "You're my best friend, Gene, but there are limits!"
GENE: "It wasn't me, Tasli!"
GENE: "It was that stupid Water Pet trying to turn us against each other---You gotta believe me, Tasli! Have I ever lied to you before!?"
TASLI: ".....No"

TASLI (scrubbing his back): "It's ok, Gene---I choose to believe that YOU believe the Water Pet is alive"
