Death does not give freedom. Nor the reward of paradise (Heaven or where ever your religion says you'd go) be given to you if you play that hand. You will forever be in the land of sorrows and pain, what some people call Hell.
Death by one's own hand is a dead end to nothingness to them, but it also takes down those they love: friend, family, acquaintances. They have to live by the consequences one created by leaving this world by those means. That makes it a very selfish and coward move to take. Then there are those that will talk down about you, and that one person who will laugh at you while you lie in a box calling you a loser for putting yourself in that box.
There are people out there connected to machines to keep them alive wishing for one more day. There are people out there fighting for each step to get across the room. There are people out there working 2 or 3 jobs so that their families can have a roof over their head and food in their bellies, clothes to put on and be able to sent their kids to school. You can have all that and more if you just step away from self destruction.
If you choose Life you choose for a second chance at Love. You get to do and say things you could not before. You become the person you want to be. Death takes that away. Death is not freedom, it is a trap. One that is forever. But Life and Love makes a Legacy and that lasts forever as well. It is a thing of beauty despite the ugliness it sometimes shows. Like God's Angels, they are not what men depict them out to be, in fact they are hideous creatures hidden in the light and all you see is the light and think how wonderful it is. They are beautiful in action not in image.But people are either one or the other or both. Very few can say that of themselves.
Keep going take another day, then another and another. The hell with what others think; you do you until you can do for others. Wrap your arms around yourself and say "I Love Me!" There is no better feeling than that. There is nothing stronger than that.
