Yeah, I broke the number one rule "Show, don't tell". My old teacher would disqualify this and call it a "radio joke" because it works perfectly without the image.
This could have worked better as a minimalist short story, without any illustration. But I like to draw. ( ᐢ (oo) ᐢ )

this is a typical case, after all, when mathematics is disproved. 1 + 1 = ~2,5 / 3,2
for me, a reader, the sum of the story and the visual (characters, scene, athmosphere, the millennia-old tradition of telling stories around a fire) is bigger than the parts, even without being frightening
that depends, obviously. that sum for a bad artist will likely be 1 + 1 = ~1,25 / 1,6
when the visual not only ain't adding anything to the story, but is distracting and uninteresting.
