This is how we made comics before computers. You had to draw each page four times, one for the basic art, then three more slides for each of the colors. It was all put together later using magic and lead poisoning. We used a light table to align the pages, but it was very hard to get it right and there was always a little something out of wack when the magazine was printed. But that was also part of the magic.

I found some more old pictures lying around. I'm sorry about the foot, at the time I thought it was funny to put it on the table.

Oh I remember the old comics. I read a lot of "Lustiges Taschenbuch" which used many Disney characters for stories.
Only every 2nd page was colored and often one or more of the colors were misaligned. It gave the whole thing its own charm.
