I guess the important thing here is they are able to keep everyone stable long enough for Ray to apply treatment to them. And at least they have the best psych personnel on hand to help deal with the mental trauma Eldar inflicted on them, though I imagine that will probably be an ongoing process for the majority of the victims.

Is it neccesary for him to eat and digest first? It seems like he would be able to manipulate stuff remotely, or absorb it without eating. In that case, he could have a big dense lump of something close by while eating that pizza anyways for morale.
It's nice to see that lady got accepted, and the robot kid's proposal proposal is interesting. I thought they were independant and alone, but they carry a message! Perhaps we shall have more robots and AI folks joining in.
