perhaps they are connected in some way? like when he went into the guys body to revert him back perhaps he fell for a trap of sorts. maybe a virus he planted just incase? or maybe something that would inflict alot of pain on the guy. it would explain his smirk as hes being walked away. i was also thinking maybe something mind controlling could be happening as well depending on his reaction. i guess we have to wait and see huh?

Rayco has indicated an ability to see (at least carbon-based) lifeforms through doors, so I'm guessing that he didn't need to completely open the door to witness the horror inside. We saw Ribas look at the door earlier, which had a faint green light emanating from it (which may have been an indication of their own special vision), but I don't think we're supposed to know what was behind it.

I don't think we were shown what was behind the door, we can just make assumptions. From the conversation it would seem that there's no easy way to make biomass, so you either store it, or you steal it in that situation..and the implications of stealing that much biomass from somewhere, or in this case from something(s) sounds rather dire... I think the decision on whether to rehabilitate or not may become much easier.
