Before we begin, this'll probably be the last comic I color digitally. I have a few reasons, these being they:

1. It's ingenuine; doesn't show the art as it appears IRL
2. It hurts my eyes and (mouse) hand to use the computer to color
3. It makes the already terrible line art look even worse. :P

That said, I promised to make a digitally-colored Timmy comic. When will I get to it? God only knows, but it'll happen eventually. In the meanwhile, there is this: https://sta.sh/01kjnt54d6dd

I need to move that clover to the left a bit (the misaligned stem annoys me). :P

Anyway...

Seems Gene and Tasli are on the roof of their apartment building, looking at clouds. I wonder what formations they'll see in the sky...

GENE (pointing at cloud): "Look out, Tasli! It's Gomphotherium!"

TASLI (threatening; holding a brick): "Oh yeah? Well, I'm not afraid of you, Gomphotherium! ...and I've got something for ya!"

[Tasli hurls the brick into the stratosphere]

TASLI: "Comin' at ya!"

[...but what goes up must come down]

CARALARM: "WEE-WOO; WEE-WOO; WEE-WOO; WEE-WOO..."

GENE (panicking): "A car alarm?! Tasli, you hit someone's car!"

TASLI (running away): "Run!"

[the cubs run inside and hide under Gene's bed]

TASLI: "Gene... if anyone accuses, we'll say it was Gomphotherium!"

GENE: "Totally!"

Gomphotheirum, for the curious: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gomphotherium

For the lazy who don't read, gomphotherium is an extinct elephant. :p

So, yeah, my autism wrote this comic ...I do, on rare occasion, receive requests for more autism (even if said requests aren't phrased that way), so here ya go (you're welcome). ^^

Also, no, I've not forgotten the Water Pets (my interest in which one could also attribute to autism), but I need to put space between Water Pet stories ...but be assured that I do have some stories in mind and will draw them if God suffers me to live long enough to get to them. ^^

Anyway, why is gomphotherium on my mind?

Well, it so happens that whilst shopping for Water Pets, I found a book I recalled having from childhood: Prehistoric Animals by Peter Zallinger.

The book: https://chasmosaurs.com/2019/09/23/vintage-dinosaur-art...

The blog doesn't show every page of the book, but there IS a gomphothrium illustration in (I'd show it myself but my DA stash is beginning to fill up).
Anyway, I remember saying 'Gomphotherium' a lot for no reason when I was 9 or so (which would be when I first had the book).
I dunno why I focused on gomphotherium (when, honestly, *platybelodon is more visually interesting), but I did. ^^

*platybelodon (pop-up warning): https://www.npr.org/sections/krulwich/2011/05/20/136436...

And while we're on the subject of prehistoric animals, let's give answer to this note,

BSDX: "MartenFerrets fursona suit is the irish elk?"

For those who don't know, I'll sometimes reply thus when a watcher uses 'I see' in a comment/note,

"Of course (you see) with your great eyes, but even eyes such as yours have not beheld the sight of the Irish elk, for the last of them died many thousands of years ago"

Apparently, I've said this enough to BSDX to inspire his question ...though I have no satisfying answer to it. ^^

Our Zallinger book is what introduced me to the Irish elk, though I cannot tell you why I (sometimes) respond to 'I see' like I do.

And now that I've brought this to light and have made a big deal about it, I'll be somewhat less likely to reference the elk in the future ...but we shall see (with our great eyes, but one sight we shall never see is that of the gomphotherium, for the last of them died many thousands of years ago). ^^

...Now I want a pencil named 'Gomphotherium'. If I could, I'd journey to the 1920s to make it happen (because I'd want a long-ferruled version), but, alas, I can move only forward though time, closer to the grave each day (but I digress). ^^

TECHNICALLY, we could still see both gomphotherium and the Irish elk running around in all their glory, IRL. For that matter, we could still see dinosaurs in action, too---real ones! :D
The only thing that hampers this is we'd need to be somewhere around 70,000,000 light years away, with a telescope 4x bigger than our solar system to see it (light reflected from a dinosaur-filled Earth all those years ago is still out in space somewhere).
Such an enormous telescope would, of course, collapse into itself and create a black hole, but what's perfect? ^^

Perhaps a telescope isn't the answer. My suggestion would be to find a way to network the universe's photons so photons far away could communicate with those close by. A device could be made to translate these photons into images, and viola! Dinosaur TV!
All we need is someone good at math, because math is usually the answer. I commission
Zivrshka
Zivrshka
to do the necessary arithmetic. Afterwords, JendaLinda could build/program the machine (I'm sure he has a spare circuit board/Blackberry lying around), and
mobkiller
mobkiller
can operate it for us via LiveStream (because he has a game controller).

I'd of course pay for this with One-Cent ACO. It takes a hundred such ACO to make a dollar, so I'll be drawing a while (I should be finished sometime before the heat death of the universe). ^^

Pencil...

The featured pencil is the 'Sports Car' from Venus Pen and Pencil Co.

I was saving this pencil to feature with an ACO of Mr. Toad, but the 'Mammoth' pencil from Eagle that I wanted to feature with this comic has vanished (as the elephant is vanishing), so 'Sports Car' will have to do.

The 'Sports Car' pencil still fits here, albeit it's unlikely Tasli damaged an expensive car of any sort (our heroes don't live in a rich neighborhood).

I dunno much about this pencil. It came in a box filled with vintage pencils (mostly) made in England, so this one was likely made there, too (Venus had an English factory in the 1960s).

That's it, I'm making a meme about you complaining about your artstyle for you. :) We keep telling you you do great job, you keep telling us that you do not...

I envision it as Gene and Tasli holding super-soakers at the viewers and defending your point of view, like in that Pulp Fiction scene, you know which one? It looked like this:

"Say 'IceAgeChippies can draw' again! I dare ya! I double dare you, whippersnapper! Say he can draw one more jumpin'funny time and you're soaked!"

Speaking of lazy, that's a lazy way to work an "elephant " into your comic and that "brick" looks like a giant eraser!

Regarding the giant telescope: look up Isaac Arthur's video's on YouTube. Further random ramblings:
1. I thought all you owned was a decrepit iPad.
2. An uncle of mine used to own an expensive car with an alarm that went off if you so much as brushed the darn thing.

Chippy is lazy! *raspberries*

I know the brick looks like an eraser---the app I'm using doesn't have a proper red crayon to use (it has 'strawberry' which isn't much better). Now, it can 'make' a red, but I wasn't going to fool with it. :p

It is an interesting proposition but unfortunately at the moment I'm rather engrossed with an investigation into the nature of quaternions, octonions, and sedenions. On the other hand, if they have any connection to the physics of fundamental particles maybe that would come in handy? ^_^

Tasli, surely, doesn't have the best situation, but I've never gotten into the cubs respective parents. I try to keep adult influece to a minimum in these comics---the only adults we've seen so far are the wolf mom and the acesexual fox.
Perhaps more details can be given about the grown-ups, but that's for some faraway day. :3

IceAgeChippies

I think some say there is a spectrum of asexuality. I dunno how that works, and terms and their meanings seem to change on a whim. So I use the 'ace-' prefix to cover them all (it's better NOT to have any specificity attached).
FoxyIbLover

Why bother? Language changes all the time. Also there is often a huge gap between what a word is supposed to mean and how people actually use it. I used to obsessed with language, to the point of trying to make up my own. You seem to have the same tendencies! Foxy: "We're a couple of socially maladjusted autistic nerds!" Ok, well I think that's enough to know as to why Tasli can be the way he is sometimes hehe. As behavior like that doesn't come naturally :3 And that's ok, I don't expect you to do that. Nor do you have to, if you don't wan to. As the very little info you gave, is enough (for me at least) to understand why Tasli can come off as a jerk sometimes lol.

I mean, if you ever do, that would be cool to see :3 But again, I don't expect you to

I've never hurled bricks off of buildings, but in my young delinquency, I would steal radios (Chippy has a colorful life). :p

I'm glad you like my OCs, albeit ...the timing's a bit off right now. I'm having a bit of trouble with a watcher who made fan art I didn't ask for. It wasn't bad, but they're unhappy I didn't have much to say about it (and are holding it against me), so I'd rather you (and anyone else) refrain from fan art at this time (thank you, though). :3

I almost did it with Gene---Timmy, too, but I'd backed out. lol

More art is to come. I've already drawn a comic to upload tomorrow---just gotta color it and so forth. But it's late here, so I must retire a while.

dabmaster999
Backed out? Oh man, now I'm gonna be tormented by what could have been. I mean I get it, you don't want to make comics like that cause you don't want to draw in a crowd of spanking obsessed freaks. That being said, maybe for a select few, who you trust, you make a little comic like that and instead of posting on Inkbunny, post in like your drive, and share it with those you trust.

Anyway, Ill look forward to the next comic, even if it doesn't have spankings in it :)
IceAgeChippies
Freaks? XDXD I don't fetish shame---I separate fantasy from reality, albeit fantasies CAN plant seeds (so one has to be careful).

I've drawn things that are DEFINITELY NSFW (most hardcore example that I've not yet deleted): https://inkbunny.net/s/2313052

...but if you dig through my uploads (from most recent to oldest), you'd see my last NSFW upload (of art I made myself) was made back in August 2022 (mostly for its story; the art could have easily been censored, but since it had to be matured for its description, I saw no need for censorship).

Spanking isn't inherently NSFW: I can make it clear that (say) Tasli will get (or had just received) a spanking, but if I draw the spanking itself, it'd have to be matured (esp. true if I spanked Timmy, who's effectively a nude child).
I've been softly repenting of NSFW art while allowing for the concepts I'm interested in (such as nudity). In non-sexual scenarios, it's not the concept but the illustrations that determine an upload's rating. So, yes, I can spank a character, it just has to be off-camera.

Regarding secret art ...it's supremely rare for me to make these, and when I do, it's usually a preview or an early draft of a comic I plan to upload, or just an ACO I didn't think was good enough to show the general public (I share such art with seven or so watchers who've been with me forever and whom I know want to see it).

<3
dabmaster999
Wow that's one hell of an explanation. So basic from what I got from this is while you don't mind spanking, me actually seeing an on screen spanking of Gene, or any of your characters, is unlikely at any point in the future, even as secret art. Not gonna pretend it doesn't suck, but it is what it is, and I'm not gonna cry about it. :)
