The Rising Dragon Festival
A lovely commission from lawlessfangs featuring Ixen and Yori sleeping together. Took me far too long to upload such a nice piece of the two together. I'm always glad to get more of the pair together, and hope everyone likes it as well.
Thank you so very much for any and all who view and enjoy it.

A busy day for both, criminals to deal with on one side, formulas to learn and understand on the other. Jobs that both require dedication and focus, but challenge different parts of the body in order to obtain satisfactory results. As time goes by, routine becomes the norm, and each one to their own devices as the day ticks by, neither interacting much throughout the day beyond a greeting and a check in to make sure nothing is amiss.

While Yori stays home, tapping away at symbols projected into the air around her, mana combinations and calculations that would cause even the researchers in Odarriya turn away in shame due to how advanced her spell creations were compared to their own. Doubtless the rapid advancement coming from a lack of empathy or concern with whatever it was she did. There were no rules or regulations she had to follow, and thus, did her research show that, bearing fruit far faster than any within the royal city in the sky could ever hope to achieve.

As she happily slaved away within the slabs of crystal that were her books, elsewhere in Edarel a fight had broken out. With a quick dodge, the garnet dragon moved out of the way of a blast of water! The jet barreled through a stone wall, destroying it instantly upon impact and blasting through towards the next building! Before it could make it, a large hand crumbled through the walls behind the mage who fired it, grappling them in their grip as they screamed, struggling to move. Their spell ceased, and they found themselves powerless, held in the tight grip of a fat, amber scaled dragon.

Screams and insults were flung towards the two, as Ixen proceeded to talk into a ring on his right hand. Almost immediately, another dragon appeared, teleporting the one within the ambers grip away, and with it, Ixen and Jasra headed back to Odarriya themselves in order to sign out for the day.

With the tasks done, Ixen returned home as a night sky ablaze with stars shown overhead. A quick teleport over and the entrance to a cave, blocked by a massive stone door with a rune emblazoned on the front greeted him. With a few taps and a calculated trace over the symbol, the rune began to glow, enveloping him into a light, before he soon made his way forward, phasing through the stone as if it was not there. Upon making it inside, the sound of rushing water enveloped him, the smell of vegetation and water rushing between the stone slabs that led down into the den. Small trees dotted the cave, plants of all kinds filling every cranny of the surrounding walls, with vines etching up over the cave walls. In the far distance a massive lake with a bright beam of light across the surface could be seen, sparkling in constant beauty.

Making his way past the natural beauty that was their home, he greeted the tiny raunikayle, hugging her before regaling her disinterest with what all had happened today. As he finished, Yori let out a yawn, returning his tale with her own findings. As he tried to understand her, he nodded, looking and watching as she explained, enamored by the enthusiasm on display as she talked about how great magic was and the infinite possibilities it had.

Eventually, she found herself winding down, the talk and exhaustion catching up to her. With the sight of his wife finally yawning more and more, with a gentle claw, he pulled her up and made his way through the enclosed clearing, brushing away at various plants as he stepped across the small stream of water and towards a large stump illuminated by nightshrooms across the sides.

Yori stayed, resting atop his head as she struggled to stay awake. Ixen himself took of his coat before handing it off to a couple magic familiars, flying all around, whom wasted no time in cleaning it for him as he handed it off. With it gone, Ixen poked the little rabbit who was quickly falling asleep, stirring her awake before he made his way atop a large, enchanted leaf, serving as a cushion over the tree stump.

The garnet dragon, tired as he was, quickly rolled over onto his back, relaxing atop the plant, before feeling Yori climb atop his stomach as she made her way up the tiny staircase on the side. In what could be considered a drowsy stupor. Yori made her way towards the center of Ixen's belly before rolling into an adorable ball and falling asleep on top of her husband. Ixen himself, smiling at the sight of seeing her so comfortable with him as to do so unconsciously, gently pet her before falling asleep himself, leaving the two to fall asleep as the moon illuminated the hole atop the cavern above, light trickling through the waterfall, as the pair drifted off to bed.
