WATCHER: "I see you have been quiet for a while. Are you doing alright? Also, if you don't feel like replying to my messages, that's alright."

I'm alive (for the most part), just not wanting to draw. Anyway...

Again, I warned y'all that I'd be redrawing some old comics ...with slightly better (though still objectively awful) art! :D

I thought of redrawing this one, https://inkbunny.net/s/2485198 but as was pointed out, I've been quiet a while, and so I needed something I could also upload to DA and FA ...so I chose something else (obv). ^^

This comic is a redrawing of 'Long Day' from 03/22/2020.

Anyway,

GENE (to the otter girl): "This cubby pool will help you overcome your fear of being in water"

OTTERGIRL (uncertain): "But it's empty"

TASLI: "Not for long! Hop in and I'll fill it with water from this hse. Just say when before it gets too deep!"

OTTERGIRL: "That makes sense, but the hose will fill the pool too fast"

OTTERGIRL (continuing): "Use this instead!"

[the otter girl hands a tablespoon to Gene ...we won't ask where she was keeping it]

[Gene dripping some water into the pool from the spoon]

OTTERGIRL (standing in pool; nervous): "Hey! Not so fast!"

TASLI [remarking to Gene]: "This is gonna be a long day"

Though I despised the original art, I liked the story, so I felt this one was worth redoing.

Baby steps now. Some people take smaller baby steps than others. Although I'm with Tasli on this one... the water will evaporate before you get anywhere, which I'm thinking the otter girl is hoping.
