The auction of the 'Flashback' comic was successful. The comic received 14 bids from five different bidders, and earned $35 USD exactly: https://sta.sh/022shwro4saw
The buyer was, of course, refunded (the auction wasn't about money ...or Fragments, or Shinies or Droppings ...Inkbunny, you need a donation element called 'Droppings'---make it happen!), but the winner will still get their reward (Chippy is cool like that)! :D
Anyway, the comic will be shipped out on the 20th (providing the Lord doesn't call me home between now and then). I thank all who participated in the auction (this was very likely my last auction as there's nothing else to sell). :3
Now, the subject of the 'Flashback' comic has me tempting the question of whether I should redraw any of my long-deleted comics, and/or if any new comics should revisit any themes of the old ones.
As most of my veteran watchers know, I've deleted over 150 uploads within the last few years, many of which were comic/quickie material. It may be fun to re-draw some of the old comics, and give pencils to them ...but I'm unsure how good of an idea this is.
For one, a redrawn comic is (effectively) recycled material that takes place of a hypothetical new or different idea. Other themes and comics were deleted for their content and/or because some characters/events therein were made obsolete by time/stage evolution (so the ideas would have to be reworked, perhaps not for the better or per expectation).
For example, I'm determined to draw a new 'classic' Timmy comic ...which will include Ribbon and Ball, and I'll allow the pikas to talk. It's a good throwback, in theory, but seeing the pikas again might be triggering for my watchers (these are the things that must be considered).
I wanna know what everyone thinks: should I redraw any of my old comics, and/or revise some old themes?
If it is okay or possible it may be a good idea to release both old and new side by side, to me preserving history is important even if it is just art.

I'm not certain, but from what I can determine is you have a special talent, a glimpse into your past and how you lead up to where you are today could be something of interest to look into and may even inspire others to learn art visually.

Would be interesting to see some comics redrawn. Maybe even expand some (as it used to be a lot of Gene and Tasli stuff, Mimi, Mubba or even Pinky the beaver could be added to some) Or even some crossover material (Timmy meets Mubba, for example) So many possibilities xD

It would be cool to see you re-make some comics :3 I've honestly thought about re-making some old drawings I made in the past. As my art style now compared to back then, has changed QUITE a bit lol. But, I also don't have a lot of time to draw anymore either. So as much as I'd love to re-make old drawings, I guess I just gotta leave em' be and just move onto new stuff lol.
And I will say too, I actually DID put a couple of bids on your auctions. But once the bidding got past $20, I gave up lol. Only because I'm very limited on funds. And I gotta use any money I have to fix my broken laptop lol. And pay my bills, not to mention

I feel I may've upset some people by deleting some of my old themes. It'd be awkward to reupload the old drawings, so the best solution would be to redraw them.
lol You've have gotten the comic for free (I refunded the buyer). I don't make art for money, just fun. :3

You probably did. But, oh well. Sometimes the decisions we make will hurt others. But if it's what you want, and makes you feel better, you gotta stick to the plan. And let no one convince you otherwise. Because yeah in this case, you plan to make the drawings even better than they were. If anything, people should be happy & excited about it lol.
And ohhhh man really?? If I would have known that, I would have bid on it more lmao. I honestly didn't know you do that. Next time, if you ever do another auction, I'll try again lol. Again I'd love to have a piece of artwork from you :3 I honestly would pay for it too, if I have to lol

I used to accept the money, but it occurred to me that I could still go through with the sale without the need of taking the money (works especially well if I know the buyer). I will NEVER accept money for my art (it's immoral for me to). :3

Well that's cool :3 And I understand where you're coming from. I never would/will either. Only because I only draw for fun, when I have time to. If it were the other way around and I tried to pursue it as a career, yeah I'd charge. But, I'll never do that. As it'll never be a career for me. And I intend on it being that way.

As long as you include a pencil I'm fine with whatever you want to do. I'm here for your art / comics / stories as much for the pencils. All I ask is you keep sharing your work / stories and especially pencils with us. :D
