Alright, so Study Partners is done. Over. Dead. Finished.
Here's why: It took me a weekend to write chapter 5. I fleshed a few very minor things out as I worked on it, but everything important was there in place in two days. And it took me over two years to actually draw that damn thing. And I still can't even draw good. It's just not worth the time spent.
So I'm going to go back to being a writer. When I do get compliments it's always on my writing, anyway. In fact, I've already got a little side hustle self publishing on Kindle over the last couple months, while simultaneously hammering out the last few dozen pics. I've been monetizing it too, so the choice is just plain obvious. Now I'm going to have so much time on my hands, I think I'll be able to get three, maybe four novels out a year.
And in my free time I'll still draw random porn, rule 34, etc. Just no two year chapters with a handful of porn scenes.
Will there by any more Study Partners content at all?
Well, sure. I've got all these OCs, might as well draw porn of them. My usual fetishes: preg, pee, young cub, as well as more vanilla stuff. I won't have to interrupt a story if I feel like drawing some random porn.
Now there could be some non-porn sequential pics in among the porn, but that would be in the case of setting up a series of porn pics. For example: the sleazy motel orgy I drew, or the "Summer Break" series where the house party leads to lots of sex. In fact, I've got a whole smorgasbord of pics in mind for a summer camping trip/skinny dipping scene that will fit right into the Summer Break folder. Good way to lead into the whole student body orgy.
I've also got a lot of notes, drafts, scripts and unfinished SP stuff I'll never turn into comics. I had planned to do short comics like Over Easy and Pork Butt, but I'm scrapping that. There's:
-the story of the pig girl getting drunk and gang raped at a party
-a story about the cow girl and industrialized teen pregnancy for the world's dairy industry
-Tammy's story
-Pig bro and sis having a quickie with their mom in the other room
-original draft of Chapter 5, with a pubescent proto-Justin/giraffe boy sexually experimenting with a pre-pubescent buffalo girl
-Chapter 6
I might post what I have eventually, in text. If somebody else wants to draw it, they're welcome to. I might draw porn pics if there's interest.
There were two super short serials I've always thought about drawing. One about a football game that leads into porn. The other about the main characters playing a video game. I could see myself doing those someday, maybe.
Got lots of ideas for young cub stuff too. I really like Apis's work. I think I'll give Kaylee a young son for a nice wholesome incestuous relationship. Probably all sorts of slumber parties, main characters as young kids, who knows.
I'm no longer going to decide, or care, what's canon or non-canon. You can go ahead and make up your own minds from here on out.
What about that other project with the humans and cubs on the island?
I think it's dead in the water. I still like the idea, I WANT to make it, but I don't know how I can. I'm considering turning it into an erotic novel. I had a few storyboards in mind, so I might do illustrations on my baraag. I have no idea where I'll post the text. AO3? I was surprised to find out Inkbunny doesn't allow human stories either, not just pics.
Sorcerer's Seraglio?
I'll keep working on that. Super easy to produce content, and I've got another 18 levels or so of monstergirl content to enjoy. I suppose that will be the bulk of the illustrated content I produce, maybe on par with summer break porn.
The Traveller has Come?
That comic about the human shota and his age-regressing time travelling wife from the future that comes back in time for crazy space adventures. Yeah, I've got about four more chapters of material for that. I think it's genuinely good. No idea if I can get through with drawing it. Doing a Sorcerer's Seraglio type format or just written would mean it could get done. I'll have to give it more thought.
I think that's it? Feels like I'm forgetting something. Oh well, that's what I've got to say for now. AMA.
