Well, I am on the receiving end of a furlough from my employer today. I'm honestly not upset by it, though: I'm a medical transportation dispatcher that focuses on the same day requests. Today's pro...
Hey, folks. Next week is Furvana, out here in the Pacific Northwest. I plan on being there. I'll be taking a train up next Thursday at oh-stupid-early, before the sun shows its asscrack, deboarding t...
Hi. I'm Xial. I am not a visually inclined artist. I do like to do color work whenever I have the muse for it. Some of it goes here. Some of it goes elsewhere. My art lies in the realm of the keyboard. Let me spin a delightful tale for you!
I've started writing again, based on a very interesting (to me) pair of universes that appeared in my head a few years ago. I like to refer to them as the Chronoverse and the D'Syrup universe. You may have mixtures of your high fantasy, deep cyberpunk, and near-analogous to what we're used to in Chronoverse, and various specks and droplets of adult oriented materials in the D'Syrup universe.
I post works that I've finished on SoFurry or Inkbunny as the mood strikes, and I'm also posting them to Lick the Blue Things. Weasyl will never again be considered. The site has a very visual-arts oriented goal, with tools that were for writers disappearing and never being replaced. Telling me to upload a document to Google Docs is never an acceptable option, and it's far too late to come back and change. FurAffinity will not be considered again. The site hasn't kept up with the rest of the world at an acceptable pace.
ePub readiness is a priority in my books, and I will try to make my works available as ePubs as I complete segments that can stand alone. Thank you to electronic book devices for making reading cool again.
On nerdworks: I am the author of a conversion stylesheet for FurAffinity called Vaunt Dark. If you use it, thank you. It will likely go out of maintenance soon, though.
My policy on drawing a Xial, or any other character in my list is fairly simple: "YES YOU CAN DRAW ME!" :)
I am not really big on roleplay these days, but if you talk a good game... I'm still probably going to turn you down politely. :) I don't mind conversation about technical things, but please don't ask me to help you build a computer. While I'm technically capable of it, and can usually find really decent pricing, I find it tedious to pull together a machine idea for someone for free.
Speaking of conversation, there's one thing I ask that you respect: If my messenger is set to away, or I've launched a game, please let me play in peace? I like you all, but waiting until I launch a game to suddenly spit messages at me is upsetting. Thank you. :)
