I didn't view the original story so no I wasn't, but I can see why it happened. It's still a sad story overall. I had a couple friends growing up that went through something like this and I feel that most people either went through or had someone they know go through something similar. It's sad, but it happens more than most would like.
And thank you for the clarification. It's nice to be fully aware of the entire story and the backstory and previous iterations of the characters.

You know Leo is very lucky. Not many kids in Real Life whom are in his situation never get their happiness like that. I'm glad he got his. No child deserves to be around awful people like those two

Damn... This comic just about broke me... I'm used to cub abuse being more sexual, but when it instead goes straight up physical assault, it's a thousand-mph slap in the face with a dose of realism. It's something that a lot of grimdark-level cub artists forget a lot, yes, child rape does intertwine with child abuse, but cub artists often forget that it's not always rape, it can also be something much much worse. I thank you for acknowledging that side of child abuse and give this representation and awareness.
