--- On the mist continent, within the main town stood the guildbranch many knew to be headed by the ruthless Zarsil. The reputation of the guild leader led to many civilians interpreting him as some sort of demon, while others heralding him as a great paladin, powerful and strong! Though to everyone who was legitimately part of the guild…
“Where is the paperwork that was meant to be sent over!”
“R-right away sir!”
“And how long are you all going to stand around gawking at the board! There are plenty of jobs other than the criminals to take out! If the hunt board is empty, then go do some rescues, or gather items! I don’t care what it is, just be productive!”
“Y-yes ma’am!”
“What did you just call me?!”
“I-I mean..s-s-s…sir!!”
As the group loitering around the job boards quickly dispersed, the ninetales let out a sigh as he quickly looked over the icy tiling of the large building, with pokemon scrambling to work ever harder under his sharp gaze.
Upon finishing up, a golduck appeared before him, clad in a light blue scarf wrapped in a way to leave both ends dangling out over the back, while wearing a loose fitting belt around the waist that held a bag and weapon on one end, while holstering a black ashen team badge on the other side.
“Sir, it’s been hours, perhaps…it is time you relaxed? You seem…more high strung today than you usually are, and it is scaring away the local teams not associated directly with the guild…”
Zarsil looked down at the golduck in question, glaring at him through his glistening blue eyes that depicted that of a cold, icy gaze with its color alone. The golduck tried to look away, doing what he could to avoid the gaze of his guild leader, as silence overtook the two…until finally leaving Zarsil to relent with a deep sigh.
“Fine…I shall go back to my office. I’ll leave things to you and Ku…if I cause you all so much trouble.”
The effeminate fox pokemon turned and walked away, leaving the golduck to sigh as he watched Zarsil make his way to the back just below the staircase to a private room. Once finally out of earshot, the water pokemon stood up and quickly motioned to a dragon type hiding out in a corner.
“Finally…so what’s up, Chiba? Keeping me hidden like this?”
The golduck looked around the guildhall before gathering together whomever he could that was free at the time. Teams from all around the room dropped what they were doing to come at the behest of the second in command, with some understanding the plan, but most being left in the dark.
“You see…while it is hard for most of us to tell…the cold months are here. We are always covered in a blanket of snow and ice here in the mist continent, but the winds have been especially bitter lately. It is because of this, I propose it is time we…try to lighten the mood some.”
All the pokemon other than Ku began to talk amongst themselves, knowing full well what Chiba was getting on about. Ku however, quickly voicing his misunderstanding of what Chiba had planned, stepped forward to ask what it was he meant.
“Come again? Traditions like this are unknown to me. What exactly are you going on about, quackers?”
“P-please do not call me that…I have a name, Ku.”
The haxorus shrugged, letting off the best smile he could manage, before leaving the floor to the golduck in question as he looked over everyone.
“I want to make sure…everyone has a chance to relax, so we will try to have a bit of a party for ourselves. I know that Zarsil will not take kindly to “slacking off” as he put it, but Kalla was never one to shy away from letting everyone relax for a day or two, and this will not be lost in the wake of his death this year. So I will…be taking over duties for the preparation. Now…Naomi, you will…”
Little by little, the golduck gave each and every pokemon at the guild a different task to perform, as they smiled and darted off to take care of it. Some for food from the market, some gathering decorations, others to help set things up. Eventually, he was left with just Ku, who not only lacked a task, but was just as lost as he was before.
“What are you going on about Chiba? What’s this party thing all about?”
Chiba looked at Ku inquisitively, trying to understand what it was he failed to understand, until shaking his head and looking back at him plainy.
“Ah, well…here in towns and the like, we all try to celebrate…um…well…some human holidays that take place during winter months. To be honest…there isn’t a pokemon alive that actually knows what it is the humans celebrated during the cold months, but we remember it being very…”festive” I guess? I cannot say for certain really. Regardless, it serves as a chance to relax. But after what happened…”
Ku heard him trail off a bit, struggling to say the final piece. However, given how often it was brought up, the haxorus already knew what it was about, and nodded in response before the golduck could compose himself.
“Say no more. So what do you need me to do?”
Chiba looked up at him and quickly refocused himself before answering.
“I need you to just…keep the princess occupied for a few hours. Are you able to-”
The dragon quickly stopped Chiba from speaking, as being tasked with such an endeavor would be easy to do. With a quick pounding of his chest, Ku quickly pulled Chiba forward as his tail swished back and forth excitedly.
“Keeping the lovely guild master occupied for a few hours? Easy, I can do that for a few days, if you preferred it~”
A blush crossed over the golducks face, the red coloring being readily apparent as he tried to pull away, knowing full well what Ku meant by what he said.
“J-j-j-ust a few hours is f-f-fine. I-I’ll tell you when we are good…e-excuse me!”
The golduck quickly made his exit as he kept his legs crossed, leaving Ku to chuckle a bit at how many members of the guild were so submissive. Still, he had a job to do, if it could even be called that…and made his way to Zarsil’s private room, to…“occupy him.”
---
A few hours later, as night descended upon the guild and the cold air blew through the halls, a quick letter indicating they were ready fell into the room, as Ku slept with the fox clutched tightly to his arms, smothering the smaller mammal in his far larger form.
The letter hit the dragon over the face, causing him to move a bit, waking him up just gently enough, as he looked at the letter, before hearing a bit of a knock.
“...Can’t you do anything…yawn straightforward…? Stupid duck…”
Zarsil was still very much asleep, completely relaxed in bed, unawares of anything around him. The sight of seeing his fox so completely lost to the world and vulnerable left the dragon laughing a bit as he pulled himself up out of the comfortable bedding that Zarsil had for himself.
“Arceus...seeing you like this, it’s a small wonder why you are so easy to dominate.” The lack of any combat awareness left the haxorus both taken aback, but turned on, however, he did what he could to keep himself in check for a bit, as he pulled Zarsil up like a newborn kit, and cradled him.
This quickly woke the ninetales up, albeit in a drowsy state, who looked over at Ku holding him, before leaning in and repositioning himself to lean against his chest before closing his eyes once more.
“Mmph…K-ku…love. W-what…are you up to? Taking…us out…of bed like…this?”
The dragon gently poked Zarsil’s nose with a claw, before smiling once more as he looked down at the fox in his arms, making sure to rub his backside a bit after waking him back up.
“Now, now, that’s no way to talk to your master right? Come, a bit of a surprise from Chiba.”
Zarsil opened his eyes back up, looking on at him in confusion, but left it alone all the same, simply nodding as he cuddled up against Ku’s chest, being far too sleepy to even concern himself with appearances at the current moment.
The pair walked outside the room, and what greeted them was an array of streamers, strung together plants, and candles all across the room to help maintain lighting inside for a few hours into the night. Food and drink were all laid out, with cooked berries, potatoes, and many other various items. Drinks of all sorts were also out over and across tables, as all the guild members relaxed and chatted amongst themselves, with even a few of the townsfolk popping in and out at the time.
A few were waiting outside the door to greet the pair as they walked out, who all greeted them with a loud happy holiday, waking Zarsil up from his drowsy stupor almost immediately. With a few blinks to make sure he was not dreaming, Zarsil quickly pulled himself down as he looked over what all the guild had become in only a few short scant hours.
“W-what is going on?!”
Chiba quickly made his way over towards the two in an attempt to explain the situation to Zarsil, going over the entire plan and party that he had devised to set up. Knowing Kalla would have wanted to do something like this, he felt it necessary to hide it from Zarsil, who seemed less than keen to try it.
As expected, the gesture left Zarsil mixed, between letting them celebrate, and wanting nothing more than to get back to work. However, over the top of the door, someone pointed out a plant hanging just above where Ku and Zarsil stood, as the pokemon who did so, quickly made reference to one of the things remembered from human tradition.
“That’s a mistletoe, when two pokemon stand under it, then they have to make love with one another~”
Chiba looked over at the sneasel that said it, shaking his head in disapproval, thinking that it was probably not quite how the tale went, but given the world, it may not be entirely off. No one pokemon, save legendaries that lived forever, could truly identify the exact terms of the plant’s law, but regardless of what it was, Ku was already picking Zarsil up and holding him by the front legs up to his face.
“So? What do you think? Happy for it~?”
Zarsil looked around at all the pokemon having fun, before being licked over the side of his face, a small kiss from the dragon serving as his master, before letting out a sigh as he smiled.
“Fine…just this one night though, but be ready to get back to it tomorrow.”
THe other members of the guild cheered as they went back to celebrating now that Zarsil gave the ok with everything happening. As he tried to get down however, Ku’s grip tightened around him, as a lust filled gleam set over Zarsil’s form.
“You forget the part about the two making love underneath the little plant. And we’re going to do it right here. In front of everyone, so they can see their princess yip for her master~”
Zarsil looked up at Ku, but before he could say anything, he was spun around with his stomach against the wall as Ku towered over him, his strength far exceeding Zarsil’s own as he kept him in place, before lining up to his rear.
“Happy holidays, Zarsil, my little princess~”
Zarsil, despite being pinned so quickly, smiled from the act as he found himself getting excited, a smile crossing his face as the tails began to wrap around Ku’s form.
“Happy holidays to you as well…master…” ---
