Murana was not feeling well. Taylor could sense it for the longest time. She knew her mother's health had been declining for a few years now, but she felt powerless to do anything about it. Murana loved her deeply, Taylor know, but these days she tended to stick to herself and just stare out the window and watch the world go by. Taylor wanted to cheer up her mom and got with her brother Steven about what sort of gift would be good for their mother. Her adoptive sibling suggested a pair of earrings in the shape of pine trees. He had once given Murana a pair, but they were since lost/destroyed due to unforeseen circumstances. It would be nice to replace them and he knew Murana would appreciate the gesture. Taylor eagerly went to the store with Steven and bought something similar to what he described and packaged it all up. Even Ahya helped put the bow on. Both were excited to see the look on their mother's face at their gift. Taylor was lucky today. It was one of Murana's better days and she was feeling up to moving around the house. While relaxing watching TV, Ahya urged Taylor on to present the gift and she drew it out from behind them, dangling it from her maw. Taylor was so excited and Murana so appreciative that her daughter was so thoughtful. She was truly blessed.
