Sunday (yesterday now) was the first Sunday after the first Full Moon after the (Northern Hemisphere's) Autumnal Equinox! As Easter comes in spring, so Wester comes in fall. So have a nude Wester hedgehog.

Yes. Norther comes after the (Northern Hemisphere's) winter solstice and Souther after the summer solstice. I paired a ferret with the former and a squirrel with pet rock with the latter. And, just as Australia has the Easter bilby instead of the Easter bunny, so I've thought up (but not shown) the Norther quoll, the Souther sugar glider, and the Wester echidna.
