As this picture shows, on the first Sunday on the first Full Moon after the Summer Solstice (in the Northern Hemisphere), the Souther squirrel likes to gussy up her pet rocks so she can sling them at unwary passersby while dancing on the slumbering noggins of good little boys and girls.
Souther for 2011 fell on Sunday, July 17, this year, so I'm a week late.
