That's strange because Patreon allows porn art on their platfrom (the condition is that it can't depict minors). Should we report them to Paypal? :D

They look at it on a case by case basis, nobody's going to ban an entire business when most of it is still a legitimate use of paypal

It is so goddamn frustrating that this is still a thing. Drawing pictures for money should not be an issue in this century.

And every platform that's like "we'll just connect people selling things to people buying things!" acts like porn is a complete surprise they obviously did not expect to sully their precious brand.

Can we please just move on to P2P shit, where a bunch of people with a bunch of bandwidth can swap completely legal JPGs without relying on some third party getting rich?

It's not new, Paypal has never allowed their service to be used for porn. Ironically, the issue about cub on FA was started by Paypal, and it was really the only reason cub was banned on FA (so they could continue using the service). Patreon was more vague about what they allowed, but cub/loli/shota did technically break their rules. It was only cracked down on later.

In honesty they suspended me, but I had all my videos encrypted so ONLY my clients had access to anything lude, So when they slammed me with a suspension, I sent them a legal notification regarding a "Data protection breach" and that my customer's private media had been illegally broken into by the patreon staff during a Illicit inspection/audit in regards to sensitive information, So they got a Cease and Desist, or further legal action would be taken.
Actively using a password on data that you haven't payed for is a big no no when your platform TLC doesn't explicitly ban encrypted "data"

P.S
It's the responsibility of the user(s) in regards to what they do with that data on there personal device or devices and not subject to query.

I got my account back in 10 minutes :)
I left anyway cus the legal tip-toeing was getting boring.
They shut my account down 2 years later xD

Got worried when discovered your patreon page didnt worked any longer and to came to check if you was ok.

I still get money for support my stuff and dont know what would be of me if I am not allowed to use paypal. Also dont know how suscribestar works yet. I'm considering make an account there.

Am so glad you found an alternative and hope it match your needs.

I know an artist (although she's a famous artist) mention that she is considered switching to subscribester due to Patreon's Ridiculous Policies that can affect her. She is a famous furry artist who used to have a pikachu as her oc.

Haz pensado en usar Pixiv Fanbox en conjunto? es la unica plataforma en la que se puede subir cub y utilizar paypal.
Queria usar suscribestar pero no me deja usar ningun metodo de pago que intento

si es un error muy comun, todos lo hemos arreglado manando un mensaje a soporte de subscribestar, se soluciona de inmediato. No entiendo por que :(

Lei en reddit que pone una cookie que blacklistea cualquier usuario que haya estado en contacto con ciertas paginas como 4chan y blacklistean cualquier tarjeta que se ponga (si no es que el nombre del titular para todas las tarjetas)

Deberias considerar usar FANBOX en conjunto, esa acepta paypal y no creo que afecte mucho lo que hagas porque todo es en telegram, hay algunos creadores que usan Suscribestar y fanbox juntos o Fanbox y Patreon y asi compartiendo las mismas recompenzas

Esta en ingles de hecho, hay 3 idiomas disponibles en la pagina, lo unico es que solo maneja la divisa de Yen japones, que por suerte los bancos mexicanos soportan, solamente necesitas usar un conversor de divisa para saber cuanto quieres cobrar.
