i hear a but coming. still I can see where she's coming from. personally i dont blame the kid, i blame his dickhead parents. nothing was stopping them from simply saying. "ok you didnt get in this year doesnt mean you wont get another chance" and given their connection to her, they could have easily learned what he was missing and worked on that. instead they treated him like nothing. idiots i swear.

I like what is going on here from a storytelling perspective but this page also showcase some flaws with this comic. More and more it feels like Luna is less a character and more of plot device designed to deliver exposition that other characters react to. Maybe this will change once we leave the prologue chapters but so far there has been a lot of talking in these chapters and not of lot of action. Again, what Luna is saying is intriguing enough to make the reader stick with it but exposition can drag down a narrative, especially in a visual medium such as comics.
