I've been told (in different words) that my galleries should include more sexually diverse characters---not just straight and ace.
...It's not that I avoid LGBTQ+ characters (I'm part of the alphabet soup myself), it's just ...there aren't many, and (for ACO) I tend to focus on obscure, vintage characters *shrugs*
As for my OC stuff, my characters reflect my (ace-)sexuality ...because it's personal ...and I actually know something about it. ^^
But is it all really about me? No (well, that depends on the antecedent of 'it', but let's not go there). So (either way!) here's a gay bunny-rabbit. ^^
This is Dade from 'Harvey Beaks': a NickToon series I didn't watch when it was relevant, but have since seen a couple episodes of. ^^
Dade has a (platonic?) crush on the titular character Harvey Beaks.
Harvey is some kind of duck (I think---contemporary character design leaves much to be desired ...and, yes, I realize my OCs tend to look alike, so I'm not saying I could do much better). :P
The 'Harvey Beaks' series is ok ...that's about all I have to say about it. That's not a criticism, I just didn't engage with it.
For as many TV/film characters as I draw, I really don't do much animation watching, save (of course) for YT uploads of select shows I grew up with.
To put into perspective how little television I watch, 'Clifford's Puppy Days' was a new series around the time I dropped cable. After that, I didn't see TV again until about 2014, and only then because my S/O had cable (I watched Paw Patrol, Dinosaur Train and Forensic Files ...yeah).
I haven't seen a program on TV since April 2018 (possibly even a bit before then). lol
So, yeah, I'm not the person to ask about cartoons, unless they're 30+ years old and aired either on Nick, Disney Channel, Fox Kids or PBS. :P
...Re-reading that, I cannot tell if I was bragging or complaining. ^^
Anyway,
I drew this card via my Zephyr and delineated it with this bargain-bin 'Universal' pencil.
The Universal writes/draws ok, but it doesn't erase well and its drag is waxy. I credit both issues to the bonding agent that holds the graphite together, affecting the experience of drawing with the Universal in (the aforementioned) unfavorable ways.
