Meet Herman the Skunk from 'The Poky Little Puppy's First Christmas' storybook. Well, actually, my Herman is based on the book's animated adaptation: 'Poky's First Christmas'

...Yeah, I know it isn't Christmas, and I know Herman isn't the main character (from either version of the story) but I'll draw who, when and what I want (so there)! :P

Anyway, the Poky Little Puppy character has been around since the 1940's, most notably as a franchise in The Little Golden Book series. :3

I drew Herman via my Zephyr pencil, and delineated him with this Dixon 'Ticonderoga' 'Black' model. It's a very soft pencil that is not good for ACO! XD Still, I wanted to feature it with Herman, so ... I did. ^^
