This is a character from a fairly obscure christmas movie called "Little Gobie and the Big Christmas Adventure" (at least in America). The movie is obscure enough that no art of the character existed on this site before this submission, and the movie is already 10 years old. Anyway the characters name is Gobie and hes a blue reindeer who has a hoverboard and two pet dragons. Does that seem weird ... well thats just the tip of the iceberg with all of the random weirdness in his movie. This was one of the main selling points of the movie for me actually and why I got it in the first place. That, and I thought Gobie was a cute character (Im a furry, what do you expect). I currently regard it as the weirdest Christmas Special/Movie ever but certainly not the worst (that distinction would probably go to "Rapsittie Street Kids: Believe in Santa" for me).
This isnt "great" but its okay. Its my first attempt at trying to draw the character. I think its not too bad, at least its somewhat cute and has most of his details correct. He wears and orange vest reminiscent of the vest worn by Marty McFly in back to the future. He wears yellow gloves with a single large star and white boots. Hes got blue fur and yellow eyes. He has some sort of badge but I couldnt make out what it says, though it has some weird non descript furry silhouette that looks like an animal with wings for ears. He has antlers with 3 prongs each. Lastly he has a little pouch on the left side of his vest.
I first became aware of Gobie from a youtube review bashing it for being almost completely nonsensical (it is kinda). Bought the movie recently and watched it for new years day with my daughter Yuki. We both had a good laugh at all the absurdity and occasional comedy of errors. Anyway I like the movie, in a sort of semi-ironic/unironic way.
