drew some fan art of my character Kyaw, I figured I return the favor by drawing one of his Characters Mubba, an austistic Raccon boy featured in some of his comics trying to befriend Gene and Tasli. I decided to add Kyaw fawning to the side. He thinks Mubba is cute. Can you really blame him?
Ic. Btw I imagine the watch is one of those calculator watches cause Mubba strikes me as a slightly dorky type. Also seems to have a penchant for technology (the radio and laser pointer).

Thank you. This was in response to Chippy drawing my character first. I figured it was fair game to draw one of his characters in return. I noticed Mubba was kind of effeminate in some ways, like my character Kyaw, so they seemed like a natural pairing. Here though they aren't really interacting, Kyaw is merely admiring Mubba without him noticing. I wanted to be respectful to Chippie's characters.

Effeminate refers to an adult male or young boy who is "girly". Kyaw is the titular example amongst my male characters, easily the most effeminate. Kyaw likes to have Tea Parties with his stuffed animals, constantly fawns over boys, especially Sven, is enrolled as a ballet dancer and wears ballet dresses for fun. He's sweet and gentle to a fault.
About the only thing that Kyaw does that is "boyish" is play video games. This is at a time though when they are relatively new, and he prefers playing them to playing sports. So its seen as a passive activity. He also is not known to play anything but puzzle games.
If you look through the gallery you can get an idea of Kyaw's personality. He is known to wear dresses not infrequently. This is because he was raised in a house of strictly females, a mother, an aunt, and three female cousins, with no brothers or father figure in his life. In his early years they likely dressed Kyaw as a girl. Within the canon, it was actually Kyaw that chose to wear overalls at some point, wishing to identify with his own sex more as he got older. It is implied by the storyline that Kyaw's attraction to other boys is related to his desire to better understand himself as a male. Unfortunately because he is essentially "a girl trapped in a boys body" due to his unbringing, boys have shunned him all his life. Sven was the first boy who decided to be his friend, after Kyaw gave him a valentines and then tried to help Sven overcome his own shyness to give a Valentines to a girl. Even then it took time for Sven to warm up to him, eventually apologizing for teasing him earlier during the same year.
I should point out one last important aspect of Kyaws character is that despite wearing dresses, only being romantically interested in boys, and having both the affectations and gestures of a girl, Kyaw very much insists on being acknowledged as a boy. He is well aware of the anatomical difference of himself from his cousins. His entire character arc is about him trying to connect with others of the same sex, and trying to combat the idea that his opposite gendered behavior "makes him a girl" which is something he constantly gets teased with. Essentially he is rejected from his own peers and told hes not "a real boy", and despite everything he insists he is. This kind of exchange can be found towards the end of "The Princess and The Pirate" storyline about Kyaw&Svens first halloween trick or treating together.
