as a gift. I thought it was a really cute interpretation of my character "Kyaw Bits" and wanted to share it.
Chippy tends to draw chibi characters like this, has a few OCs, and sometimes does short comics. Unfortunately he is currently on hiatus and won't be back until the fall of 2021, so if you check out his gallery now you won't find much. However he has mentioned that he would be working on a longer project on his time off and releasing it upon his return, so you might want to check back in for that as well as the restoration of his gallery.
Bear in mind that Kyaw is a very effeminate boy who likes wearing dresses while practicing ballet, having tea parties with his stuff animals, painting his nails, and probably some other things I haven't thought of yet. His only typical boy trait is that he likes to play video games, especially tetris for some reason.

As for our characters getting along... Well, you have presented me with some things YOU count as possible deterrants to friendship (unless I've read you wrong, but your use of 'bear in mind' seems to connote a warning). Are you insecure with me? I'm drawing nude cubs for the internet---I'm not one to pass judgement (I'm also on the LGBTQ+ spectrum myself, as you know). ^^

I dont think thats quite it. Im not insecure about it, I feel pretty safe in the furry community to be as gay as I feel like (it varies for me as you know). I meant it more because your characters are not queer so it might seem strange to them. Surely Tasli would disapprove, but Mubba doesnt seem like the judgy type. Still I threw that in there just in case (1) you werent aware (no one reads descriptions, right?) And (2) it would have any bearing on Mubbas reaction.

And yes Raccoons are cute, but in Mubbas case it has more to do with his personality. Lately I do seem to be drawing a lot of cats, rabbits and mice though so those might be my top furry species atm.

If kyaw is socially awkward it would probably be because he is just too much. A little too open with his feelings, a little too enthusiastic, a little too quick to be in your personal space etc. He is not what I'd call shy, he is kinda shameless. To him his behavior is normal. He was raised surrounded by females who never discouraged him from being w/e. He is fascinated by other boys but he doesnt quite understand them. He is friendly to a fault basically.

I'll answer your question this way---you recall how joyful Mubba was at the mere possibility that Gene/Tasli would play with him. You could apply that to most any invitation of Kyaw's.
That said, Mubba is also stubborn (wouldn't get his shorts wet or remove his helmet), and somewhat in his own world (he jumped into the dumpster upon sight of it, despite being in conversation).

My guess is they would both enthusiastically embrace the friendship but would quickly find themselves slightly at odds about a few things. Firstly, I am guessing Mubba would get uncomfortable when Kyaw inevitably started get too touchy feely, like overly enthusiastic hugging, wanting to lean on his shoulder, wrap around his arm, hold his hands, and lord knows what else if you let him :p
Mubba will probably get weirded out/confused by this. On the flip side I dont think Kyaw is gonna want to be to near Mubba after he jumps in a dumpster. The smell would offend his delicate sensibilities and he wouldnt want to get dirty no matter how much he liked Mubba. Hes definitely not a play in the mud kinda boy, more of a brush his cousins hair and take a bubble bath kinda boy. That being said hed probably try to be sly and convince Mubba to take a bubble bath with him ... ;)

Bear in mind, I'll likely be scrapping my OCs at year's end. I may or may not create new ones, but after I get MT uploaded, I couldn't rightly use Gene and Tasli anymore, and Mubba goes with them Timmy's story is also ending, so he's done as well.

I meant to mention this earlier, but I have a minor nitpick. The dark fur on Kyaw's ear's is meant to go a little higher on one side than the other. It's the reason why he has that swirl on the back of his ears, because it's higher on one side than the other. Honestly it's an odd detail so not surprising it went unnoticed. Or was this a design choice on your part? By the way, I still think this is amazing! It's a really cool version of my character :)
