So, here's my last sketch dumpling (for a while)---what is rest on my October list will be committed to ACO.

All right, so, we have the Peanuts gang in their trick-or-treat costumes.

This sketch came about as a result of being challenged to draw The Great Pumpkin (TGP). TGP is never shown in the special (or anywhere else in the Peanuts universe), so I was free to draw whatever I wanted.

I cannot tell if I was feeling deep, lazy, or *both, but I decided to take the 'Yes Virginia' route with my interpretation of TGP, by presenting it as the spirit of Halloween, as incarnated by the gang of trick-or-treaters.

*it was both :P

How'd my challenger feel about this?

CHALLENGER: "Deep and beautiful, [Marten], like a pail of Halloween spoils. It should be shared with as many people as possible this season"

...Yay! :D

As for my opinion on 'It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown' ...I feel it's (oddly) anti-cult/-religion.
Granted, I'm prone to reading far too much into many things, but that was my takeaway.
