Megan and Deborah spending the evening out and having a friendly drink together. They have always been close, often acting almost more like sisters than mother and daughter, and though they don't get to see each other as often as they'd like these days, they always manage to have a great deal of fun together.
It has been three years since Megan got to share some time with her little girl. I thought it was high time to remedy that. Even if, at 22, Deborah's not such a little girl any more.
Mother/daughter outings are the best! I've been wanting to get another picture of these two done since forever, and Zoey did such a beautiful job with everything. I'm so glad you like it, too!

Lovely Deborah, it's great to see more of her! I love her earring which matches the colour of her eyes! She looks so much like her mother, you definitely have a lovely young bun daughter to be proud of and love to itty-bitty bits!

The nuzzle was entirely Zoey's idea, but it adds such a nice touch of sweetness and affection. And she did a lovely job with the details, I agree, especially the patches on Megan's jeans and the logos on the shirts. I so want both of those shirts!
Funny thing, the amethyst earring was originally supposed to be a necklace. Then it got drawn as an earring in an earlier commission and it just kind of stuck. I do like how well it goes with her eyes, though, and it looks pretty cute that way I think. Heh, and yeah, she does take after her Mamma in so many ways. I've toyed with their designs a bit over the years, trying to get them to look more unique, and I think they both turned out pretty well. And I am super proud of her for sure!

Archangel's is a bar from my modern day setting, owned and run by a vixen named Cassandra. It was originally going to be Fat Charlie the Archangel's in reference to an old Paul Simon song but I ended up shortening it because that is quite a mouthful, and I didn't think most folks would get the reference anyway.
The logo was originally designed by my friend snowleandre and can be seen here.

I'm sure they'd be happy to have you. The clientele can be a little rough around the edges sometimes, but Cassandra's girlfriend makes sure they behave. A 6'3" snow leopardess is pretty good for that. And the drinks are never watered down, guaranteed.
It took some work and fiddling around with her design to get something I was happy with, but I'm quite pleased with how she turned out and I'm glad you like her, too. The pink hair dye helps a lot, I think.

Oh the Pink hair definitely helps XD . But I also noticed (Weather by Accident or designe, Deborah's fur is dark then her Mother's, but her hair is lighter. Where the cream colored pattern is solid on Megan'@ her daughter's dosn't reach as far and gradually fades out, very nice touch n_n . Instead of Deborah's ears being tipped black they're cream and unlike her mother she doesn't have any cute, fluffy ear tufts.

Deborah having cream ear tips, purple eyes and pink in her hair were all deliberate choices. The rest kind of happened by happy accident and not having consistent refs for her. But it couldn't have worked out better if I'd planned it and I'm very happy with her overall design and the subtle differences between the two. I still need to get a reference done for Deborah to set those details in stone, but that's a project for the future.
Actually, the fact that Megan has cream fur instead of bright white is a result of a happy accident as well. An artist I commissioned to draw her early one made a slight coloring error that resulted in the coloring you see now and I liked it much better than what I had originally planned.
