To this day, my pencil sketch of 'Krypto the Super Dog' has endured in my DA gallery--- I've not once deleted it since its original upload on Aug 14, 2009. :3
Over the years, the sketch's been in and out of various Krypto-fan-club type folders and galleries. It was added to yet another recently, along with a message asking for new Krypto art and for my signature to grace an unofficial petition to get the series (properly) released on DVD (despite the fact DVD has been obsolete for years).
The petition I denied, but ...I think an ACO for 'Krypto the Superdog' is a good idea ...besides, I've been promising to make more Krypto art for years---that speed sketch of Puff wasn't good enough!) :3
Anyway, to represent the series, I've chosen Streaky the Supercat. =^..^=
I know, I know---I've been asked to draw Snooky-Wookums (and I still *may), but I was feeling 'Streaky' today (don't take that the wrong way---I wouldn't say I'm presentable, but I am dressed). ^^
*I have a real Krypto comic book...which I may review if Streaky here gets enough attention from the DA Krypto crowd. :3
Anyway, I drew Streaky via a Venus 3H drawing pencil, and delineated him via a Venus HB drawing pencil. I filled Streaky's cape via the Dixon 9H Eldorado pencil.
I'd say both Venus pencils are comparable, qualitywise, to Caran D'Ache's offerings, albeit I've used better (not much to say about these---both these Venus pencils are standard fare for their type).
