[The ambiance is a large room that is mostly empty. Possibly the sounds of people muffled on the other side of a door. The two mice will need to be pitch shifted.]
<Gus grunts as if trying to reach or jump up to something higher up. The sound he makes is a grunting sort of "Huup!" sound. He does this about 5 times struggling a bit more on each one. After the final try, he makes a goofy sound like "GUH!" from landing on his ass.>
Gus: <Panting and then a sigh> Too short. [Pause] Tooooo heavy.
Gus: Uuuuuh. No ladders. No step-steps. How’m I s’posed to get up there?
A loud floorboard creek is heard.
Gus: <Whispering to himself in a panic> Cat-cat!
[Quick little footsteps]
Jaq: Oooooh! Hmm...No steps. No ladders. What to do, what to do.
Gus: [Stupidly] Uuuhhhhhhh.
[Tiny little finger snap]
Jaq: Boost! Can magic up to it!
Gus: [To himself] Boost? [Pause] Magic? [Pause] Huh?
<Jaq clears his throat.>
[Dinky drum sound]
Jaq: Time to grow! Time to blow! Bippity boppity grow! Woo hoo!
Gus: Huh?! I don't know. Where do you blow?
Jaq: Right into the finger!
[A sound like a light chime happens upon revealing it.]
Gus: The finger?
Jaq: Up it goes!
<Jaq inhales. He begins to blow but only do it a little bit because a sound effect will take over.>
[As he does, a sound of filling up could occur, either implying that parts of him are growing from the bottom up in sections, or in one big motion. It could have a creak sort of sound to it. Baloon + Leather crackle.]
Gus: [Stupidly] Wooooooooooow.
Jaq: [Distant] No big deal at all!
<Jaq hums some bars from the Bippity Boppity Boo song as he gets faded out.>
Gus: Uhh. [Pause] Boost-boost... [Pause] How’d he do that?
[Pause]
I could magic up that big-big too. How’d those words go... Uuh…
[Deep bass drum roll]
[Slow and stupidly] Bibbidy... uh... Bobbidy... [Pause] Swell. Uh... Hope this works real well!
Gus: Hoo… funny feelin’.
Gus: <Goofy chuckle> Presto!
Gus: Aaaand up…
<Gus inhales noticeably deeper than Jaq did. He clamps his mouth around his tumb and struggles and grunts as he blows.>
[The sound of a large rubber object inflating. Presently, it stops at a cutoff with a wobble sound.]
Gus: [Groggy from too much blowing] Huuuh? My hand blew up!
[A sudden woosh sound of air comes as the stored air]
<Gus makes a muffled cry as his thumb jams back into his mouth.>
[A creak sounds and a wobble is heard again.]
Gus: Whuh... My bottom got big! Oooh nononononono…
Gus: How do- Oooff! Whoa! Going uuuuup!!!
[Lots of baloon sounds and then a wobble sound. Three cartoon bounce noises.]
Gus: [Loudly from bouncing] WHOOOA! [Pause] OOF! [Pause] Guuuhh!
Gus: Oooh, what a bump! Dizzy-dizzy...feelin’ fuzz...uuhhh….or…..feelin’ pumped...
[Sound of baloon being squeezed]
Gus: Bubbled. Like a bubble. How do...How do you double-double?
<Gus inhales sharply and holds pressure>
Gus: [Struggling to speak] Ooohhh, big'un, big'un, big'un! Gotta big big big big big... bounce!
[Wobble sounds]
Gus: [Struggling to speak] Mmmmwoa…
Gus: [Barely concious] Ballooned. Big'un balloon….How bout the double…
<Gus makes another sharp inhale>
[Baloon fills all the more with stretching sounds]
Gus: [With a belly way too full] Huffed up… Imma bubble… Gonna…
<Gus makes one more groan>
Gus: [Much too full] Uhhh ohhhhhhh...
[Sound of rapid deflate followed by a wooden thud. The final hisses of air come out in a goofy fashion]
<Gus groans as he gets closer to going empty.>
Gus: [Super disoriented and groggy] Buh-Buh boosted! [Pause] No big ball at all… [Pause and then passing out] Uuuuuuuuhhhh~
