A young Ion (around the age of 15 or so) going into town to buy his favorite fruit.
After he and Zephyr left on their journey, the met a old fox who seamed familiar to Ion. He took an interest in them both and decided to train them, to help hone their skills and achieve their dreams of becoming Contract Hunters. While the old fox lived in a small cabin in the woods a fair distance from the closest town, he would send one of the boys into town once a week to get food and other supplies. This would allow them to get some solo experience in the field while the one who remained behind would receive personal training an aspects they needed to personally improve on.
This time it was Ion's turn to make the half day journey into town and he decided to stockpile some extra oranges, his favorite fruit, for the long journey back to the cabin. These trips would take the boys almost the whole day to complete, as most of it was the travel, but it was a nice way for them both to get some alone time, to reflect on some things and to take note of their own skills, as while the trips were not overly dangerous, there were usually a few instances that they would have to defend themselves along the way. Their master had full confidence in each of their abilities and knew each one of them could handle the small threats that they would encounter, giving them a small rivalry on how many bandits they could defeat along the way while protecting their cargo
