The lack of cravats indicates these might be transitional ensembles. Certainly the color indicates daywear and not the usual all-black look some might inevitably associate with Victorian fashion. Both outfits are passable in either time, although both would certainly be wearing hats of some kind as they are out of doors. I'll just call this safely pre-Great War and forget about it. Anyways, this's still a fun pic that catches a certain cadidness on the part of the subjects.
