This is the origin of my Bucky O'Hare Web Series character Renfield Billings, once a toad actor convinced to undergo a combination of gene therapy treatments and plastic surgery to turn him into a near-perfect toad/hare hybrid so he can spy on the mammals for the Toad Empire, however he soon starts getting too used to being a hare, and later comes to dislike his toad masters.
