A friend needed some help clearing out her mother's house, so (given my experience in estate liquidation) my assistance was called upon.
Most of what I had to do centered on packing dishes and the taking out of trash---a good portion of which consisted of jarred green beans canned between 1979 and 1984 (yeah, neither of us were dared the risk of eating any).
As a thank-you from my friend, I was taken to a diner whereat the food wasn't competing with me in age (...not that I was aware of, anyway, but in either case, the food was quite good). The diner had a large TV set up on a wall and, though I mostly ignored it, I did happen to see a commercial for Leaf Guard: a fancy gutter installation. What appealed to me was its mascot: a cartoon squirrel in a classic cartoony style.
I mentally added the aforementioned to my to-draw list ...and here he is in all his generic (but adorable!) glory! ...at least insofar as my pencil is able to capture. ^^
So, today I decided to knock this squirrel off my draw list. For reference, I went to the Leaf Guard website, whereat I found the squirrel (or 'squirrels', rather) is used fairly extensively via Flash animation and even games!

NOTE: I keep my software updated, but Leaf Guard ...apparently doesn't. I had to switch to my other computer running a 2017 version of Chrome to play these games (which, though risky, was necessary here). Either way, I have included screen shots so everyone can see what the games look like.

Upon enabling Flash so I could try these games, the squirrel (wearing a trilby and glove) performed a Michael-Jackson-style moonwalk...
You know, I already like the person who made this: classic cartoon designer who likes Michael Jackson (long-time followers of mine know I like to pose my ACEO subjects in MJ poses). If they're a furry, too, that'd just beat it all! :D
Anyway...
There were three games to choose from (and these are they):
1. Squirrel Baseball 2. Acorn Catch 3. Return to Homepage
...wait, I think I've played that third one before. Either way, I decided to begin with Squirrel Baseball (...which sounds like it could get messy). ^^;
The baseball game is simple---just click in time to hit the acorn with your bat ..but one has to be FAST to do it! For those familiar with Neopets, this game is a combination of Kass Basher and Dar-BLAT, the latter being an infamous rage game. :P
I'm unsure what the maximum distance is, but I managed to hit the acorn 325.4 ft.
As may be gathered from the above screenies, these games are fully animated---they look better than they need to be (just being honest here).
The second game (Acorn Catch) features a different squirrel. The squirrel will follow one's mouse left or right (I couldn't use the arrow keys---would have been MUCH better if I could've) to catch the nuts falling from the adjacent tree. I managed to catch two (out of, I think six or so). I didn't want to continue this one so much since (again) I dislike having to use the mouse.
That's a cute squirrel. But my browser don't want to let me try them...too bad. Damn...not being able to use the keyboard would have been a pain anyway XD
