That fuckers problems go far deeper than meds can touch and there is no treatment for his level of mean. All the psychologists and psychiatrists in the world could never help him to see the error of his ways. In his mind he is in the right, she's his daughter, his property to do with as he sees fit and no one could ever convince him otherwise. Sadly in my life time I have seen this kind of a man more than once (gladly not within my own family), and not once did professional help change anything. Sadly in more than one case it took the death of the victim (child, spouse) before anything was actually done to stop them. In others, they were stopped by someone who could , if need be, show them a far greater level of hatred and evil than they themselves possessed. Alcohol does not drive his actions, it only numbs him to the pain he causes those around him.
