Vixey the waitress is another character that will eventually be in Demordicai Diamonds and like a good bunch of them, I haven't drawn her in 2 years.
Vixey is not a native of Relma, she hails from the kingdom of Romadia (currently ruled by a Queen) where her family are wealthy landowners. She has many brothers and sisters, most of whom were born in sets of identical twins and each given rhyming names. Vixey, being one of the youngest, feels she got the short end of the naming stick and that her parents were not putting forth the extra effort to come up with a more exuberant name like many of her siblings. Vixey does have an identical twin sister, Trixie, who lives in Romadia but does visit ever so rarely unlike the rest of her family.
Vixey didn't much care for her life. Her parents sent her to schooling, made her appear at social obligations, and always kept a bit of a leash on her. On top of that, Vixey didn't have much in the line of friends and was distant with most of her older siblings and her twin was more of a rival than a friend. She eventually decided to run away but was caught. Her father, though displeased, recognized Vixey's wishes and made arrangements for her to live close to an old acquaintance of his by the name of Cornelius Autumntail.
Vixey then left for the island of Relma and traveled to Aspen Village. With some money from her family, she was able to buy a residence in town and take care of herself fairly well but she soon realized she needed a source of income. She turned toward Juna, the local tavernkeeper, and got a waitress job.
Getting a job on her own was a big boost to Vixey's self esteem. Normally, most things in life were just handed to her or arranged by her family. Fortunately but unfortunately, Vixey was unaware that her mother traveled behind her in disguise to Aspen Village and made arrangements for Vixey's life there without her knowledge and departed the small town as quietly as she came in.
Vixey still works as a waitress, serving up food and drink with a smile and a wink at Juna's tavern but often talks bad about her customers behind their backs. She easily gets jealous and tends to be a bitch when not working or when out of earshot and sight of the customers. She is very self-conscious about her body, primarily about her smallish chest, and stuffs her blouse when she can. Juna's teasing doesn't help out much and only makes Vixey's mindset on the matter worse.
Considered high maintenance (and also slightly crazy) by much of the local male population has left her without a boyfriend for sometime. She did have one soon after she settled down in Aspen Village, one of the town guard and a notorious womanizer at that, but the relationship didn't last long, ending with Vixey dishing out a very embarrassing scar to her lover and gaining a "crazy" reputation amongst the menfolk.
Vixey doesn't have too much of plans for the time being besides being a waitress and earning her own money. She has a fashion and flower obsession and often likes to wear her hair in pig tails. Her favorite color is pink.
