Last year there was a timeframe filled with a lot of interesting events in my life and I thought I might finally be able to spare some time for something I’ve felt passionate about. Something grand, something epic, high effort , cute and emotional.. Animating a motherfucking song! >:D
Alas times quickly changed, art since remained my livelihood and thankfully I never cease to have work , but it also keeps me so busy I’d rather do anything but sit by the mac and draw even more.
Lady dragon never got to have her dream storyboarded or -possibly- come true. Neither did I. But that’s cool, I’ve got to learn and during that time I’ve gotten inspirations for pleeenty of other songs, 2 of which could look great in sketch/ black n white, BUT they’d also be depressing af. :Y That’s why I wanted to work on this instead of A.) a werewolf massacring their love B.) The demise of two lovers with rape, revenge and death MAYBE C.) Indirectly murdering a TON of people and it all climaxing in suicide. Gosh darn I know how to pick happy songs don’t I? They’re just poetic, emotional and darn good tho. ;-;
tl;dr : Fuf thought she be making nice animation one day. Fuf be wrong. Must work, no time for passion projects nobody cares about. Maybe some other time.
Anyway! Here’s what I snipped together back then. Been sitting around for a long time and I thought might as well share whatever progress was made.
It was fun and if I get to balance my schedule one magical day I’ll definitely try to animate an aforementioned track unless I figure a way to convey a more upbeat theme in a minimalist technique to pay tribute to the bands me n hubby adore.
Speaking of which.. MoP, we need them tickets for CoF and Aborted before they sell out. If they do I’ll game end you. I need my whiplash and moshpit injuries. :Y

Wow. the king was a real prick. The knights went in assuming the dragon was dangerous and was gonna kill them. But the king went in knowing the dragon was going to respond in a way that didn't involve just broiling him immediately...then used that to sneak attack her. Cripes.
