"A few months later, I have to say that Vixy's talents have grown vastly. She is very happy to sort the books and scrolls of the library, and can be quite stern about any books that are late to return. She certainly surprised me when she took but two months to compile a full index in her head, knowing exactly where every single document went and on what shelf! And the library hasn't been this clean in ages! She's made herself right at home, treating the various tomes like they are her own property, always copying information from those that are old and fading into a fresh blank on the shelves, making sure no information is lost to time.
She's also proven herself to be a very talented student. I started with simply cantrips, things so basic she can simply flick a finger and cast on a whim, before helping her advance her knowledge into the more complex. She's already being a great help, handling the scrying spell for me to locate the exact layer of a world my fragments have found themselves. It's... Really hard not to join her smiles and excitement when she succeeds at some thing. Out of curiosity, I asked her one day how she felt about our agreement, and how well she had been adapting to her change in gender and freedoms. She just smiled at me, and said she really didn't mind at all; not only was she learning from a God, she had a vast family that were always happy to see her and glad for her help.
She's very eager to learn more, but sometimes, when she's not busy, I'll see her stop and cast the very light spell I started her with, and watch as her entire expression warms from being taught how to harness her gift's polar twin. It just makes me so glad that now, I had someone I trusted just as much as Poppy with command of the staff. And an eager student that gave me the joy of education."
