This was to commemorate the 100 member mark in the old DSV Nautica Yahoo group. The file is dated 2003, which sounds about right. The group was founded around Rei Vegan's at-the-time webcomic. (I haven't followed up on it in ages. I should probably see if it's still a thing.)

The first one is colored by yours truly. The second by someone competent.

It seems to have stalled out. And Rei's Twitter has been deleted... He keeps renewing the domain, though. So he has to be doing SOMETHING...

DSV Nautica seems to be in perpetual limbo but there's a new short comic set in that universe, The Merge: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/22620526/ Currently at 8 of 14 pages. "The story is written by Abyssal and follows a small but important moment in Abraxas' (a genetically intersexed* male) sexual identity and relationship adventures." (*he has a pussy)

I loved the look of this character and several of the other designs. It sort of vanished on me after a point and I never really reconnected to it afterwards.
