This is a two-version, full shaded color commission of my fursona Roketsune, featuring both of his roles/aspects in life, done by

Malachyte

. Because I was unable to fully envision the design of his uniform, she also had to double as a fashion designer for the Strategist version! She was highly courteous, and highly attentive to my ideas and wishes. I would enthusiastically direct people to her for their own commissions. You won't find someone more reasonably courteous and attentive, and of course she's highly competent at her craft.

I had commissioned in general very few pictures, fewer still of my fursona. I had commissioned Aogami years ago to draw him in uniform, but I had a highly vague vision of his uniform and role, and I was highly inexperienced in the commissioning process. In the following years I had commissioned two-version pictures of Roketsune's model/schoolboy version from Malachyte and tsaiwolf. As Roketsune's world, personal background and life, and his planet's war, developed and expanded, a lack of an accurate and modern depiction of his Strategist form become an increasingly aggravating deficiency.

My fursona has two roles/aspects/forms which he casually alternates between and even simultaneously exhibits: femboy model and military strategist. Originally they were far more heavily separated, but over time my fursona's background and history expanded and matured, and the two aspects or representations merged together. It just seemed natural and proper for him to simultaneously pursue and enjoy both lives and careers, though for obvious reasons his role of supreme strategist is paramount. Because both aspects had been greatly expanded and matured in addition to being co-occurring, I really wanted a commission to showcase both lives. I turned to Malachyte to achieve this.

NOTE- The term "prancer" is Takomenian. It denotes models/idols and people in general of either gender who are resplendent, attractive, and proud- those who "prance" around. The label is especially heavily applied to energetic, cheerful, and effeminate models and performers. It essentially is synonymous with "femboy" when Roketsune and other femboy characters are discussed, though overall it's not because it encompasses only a certain type of femboy- and also females.

Antebellum- Modeling, Performing, and Business

Roketsune started his first career- erotic femboy model and performer- as a young teenage cub. It was quickly and readily apparent both to him and those around him that he was aesthetically and psychologically extremely suited for this sort of career. By the age of 15 he had already established himself as an esteemed and popular model and performer in a world which was replete with them (Takomenians are extremely carnal and appreciative of beauty). He even founded and managed a small operation by 15, and had sort of informally employed a cadre of schoolmates who would share in the revenue and in the process get to yiff and prance around on camera. His cadre would comprise the core of what would become an extremely lucrative global modeling and performance enterprise which catered very heavily to the hebephilic and ephebophilic enthusiasts of femboys and females.

Takomen is extremely advanced in medical technology relative to its other fields. What are immutable traits to us are often easily adjustable to them. Genetic manipulation and enhancement is ubiquitous and seen as a high act of progress. They devised methods of eradicating all manner of diseases, and even aging they have devised a cure for. Everyone can set a permanent or temporary apparent age in the course of normal medical care (which is socialized and a universal entitlement there). Roketsune decided to stop his physical aging at 15, so he will always have the vocal and facial features common to an extremely effeminate 15-year-old male. His various compatriots and fellow models have done the same at different ages and points, and his cubhood comrades paused their aging soon after they befriended each other. Thus, everyone he works with always will appear and sound 11-18.

After graduating from basic schooling and becoming an adult, his business flourished. Roketsune's extremely high intelligence and perceptiveness, his highly dominant and charismatic personality, extreme ease in front of cameras, his loyalty and attentiveness towards his friends, and his extremely high sexual desirability and capability, allowed him to establish a highly efficient and rapidly expanding enterprise- with the help of his compatriots.

His business employed numerous models and performers which were carefully chosen by Roketsune for their emotional, behavioral, and sexual compatibility with him and the other performers, suitability for their role and Roketsune's business goals and structure, and for other characteristics and circumstances. A primary reason for the success and desirability of him and his enterprise was his team were genuinely friends with each other and not merely random actors or performers brought together to yiff, model, and perform. While aesthetics and carnality were primary features, they were more than just porn actors and fashion models. They were genuine, close, and multi-faceted people with their unique personalities, interests, and backgrounds. This was very apparent to their audiences, which endeared them greatly to the masses.

Eventually he established a large home where multiple models of both genders lived together and were on camera almost constantly. Patrons could watch the models as they did everything from mundane tasks and socialization, to casual and lazy sexual affection, to extremely passionate and uproarious yiffing. Their lives were on full display to their customers, lives which were very enviable and glamorous, but also very real and sympathetic. The household entirely consisted of mutual "friends with benefits", though it also included two or three mated couples. This "Prancer Haven" and its extremely attractive and libidinous inhabitants became a legendary central asset and feat of his business, and it would continue thriving after the Revolution into the present. I really want to write about and explore this household and setting, and their benevolent leader's transition into revolutionary commander and then to supreme leader who also continued managing and cavorting with them on the side.

Revolution and War- The Femboy Idol Starts a Military Career

Anyway, skipping over some details I haven't even fully sorted out and solidified yet... Roketsune's nation of Kantaria was planning a rebellion against their occupiers who had invaded them years before, Bengaria. Roketsune had been displeased with the state of his home country because of the Bengarian occupation for quite a while despite being affluent and pampered along with his cohorts. He's very mindful of the plights of others, and very much not self-absorbed. He quietly volunteered his support to the inchoate revolutionary forces. He did not merely offer to help with morale and entertainment. No, he wanted to be involved with overseeing a vital aspect of the soon-to-be active revolution, such as supplies, industrial output, or logistics.

What qualifications did he- a person renowned for being a supermodel entrepreneur, screwing lots of other young and pretty models on camera, and parading around and posing in beautiful and seductive attire- have for that sort of thing? He had some education on industrial and financial concepts he had elected to learn at the university merely because they were relevant to his business and he wanted to learn. He had studied military history, science, and concepts of both Takomen and Terra in various ways from his teenhood onward, including taking a completely elective university course from a renowned Terran professor of Terran Military History who was hired by a Takomenian university. He also was a naturally proficient military grand strategy game enthusiast, and could have had success as a professional/tournament strategy gamer if he had elected to do that. He was very well acquainted with various wartime necessities and factors (relative to an average person, anyway).

And also, though his modelling career assets and experiences might seem entirely dissimilar and inapplicable, they really were invaluable preparation for other leadership positions. He had very ample experience in leadership, resource management, media and interpersonal relations- all of which are quite useful in any organization, but especially those which are as imperative and complicated as military ones. When he was elected Supreme Strategist for the Kantarian Military Organization, his charisma and even his on-camera performance proficiency and experience became even more relevant and invaluable. He had to address, persuade, and endear himself to an entire nation at that point. I'll delve more into that later.

The revolutionary leaders and their Likurian allies/benefactors were surprised he wanted to help at all, and were astonished to hear his preferred departments. He artfully explained why he was qualified and interested in those areas. He also stated that, as a legendary model-entrepreneur, this not only would assist with morale but would also obfuscate and conceal his true efforts and role. He could just portray his role and activities as greeting, uplifting, and performing for his home nation's underprivileged workforce. Roketsune's family, close friends, and most devoted fans were not surprised when they learned all this. Roketsune has always been far more than just a pretty face. His high intelligence, perceptiveness, and ability and eagerness to learn and adapt, were apparent in casual conversations, and sometimes on display in his normal videos, writings, and productions.

The conceived revolution eventually turned hot. Roketsune proved himself extremely capable and effective between the start of the revolution and the start of the world war (when he was made Supreme Strategist). He also was very understanding of the needs of other departments and people, and was fixated more on greater general benefit and the achievement of victory than what was best for him and his areas/assignment, and so his departments got along abnormally well with the others. At one point, there was a crisis in a region of the nation, and he was appointed as the senior marshal (their equivalent term for "general") and tactician of that field army. He stabilized the situation and proved himself a highly effective and likeable tactician and strategist with an excellent understanding of such functions as logistics and morale.

Advent of Planetary War and Kantaria's Supreme Femboy Strategist

The Kantarian Revolution, largely due to quiet but obvious Likurian military assistance, was highly successful against a corrupt and incompetent Bengarian military and government. On 19 November 2012, the latter resorted to the large-scale use of atomic weapons on military positions across the nation to reverse the situation, causing extremely high military casualties, a high number of civilian casualties (high for them- they wage war very humanely and precisely) and disruptions, and outrage across the planet for the perceived highly excessive use of force on a people they had invaded and driven to rebellion anyway. The Kantarian Revolutionary Forces were thrown into disarray and retreat. Likuria's military and parliament declared war on Bengaria just before Midnight, mobilizing defensively own continent in case their neighbor invaded while deploying the bulk of their naval and aerial forces to fight the Bengarians directly.

While Likurian interceptors and bombers were in the Kantarian skies protecting shattered formations below, the Kantarian military, which had been led by a council of officers rather than a supreme commander like the other militaries were, decided they needed to change their system to maximize their chance of survival. Having no supreme commander protected them from some hazards, but it also limited their potential and worsened their responsiveness to developments. They had plenty of highly competent and patriotic officers to choose from, and in any event they as a council could always could reserve the power to veto a decision by the Supreme Strategist. So they decided to elect one leader amongst them. As that person would also double as the figurehead of their war effort, variables other than military/industrial experience and qualifications were strongly considered. Charisma, rapport with the troops and people, ability to have departments harmoniously cooperate, etc.

Roketsune was decently knowledgeable and competent at tactical and strategic matters, but many had far more training, education, and experience than him. However, no one besides him had such an enormous level of persuasiveness, charisma, and ability to select, lead, and coordinate with others. He had proven extremely perceptive and adaptive, extremely logical but also endearingly emotional, and meritocratic in his personnel choices. Whatever his deficits were in military, economic, or industrial affairs could be obviated or attenuated by the council and by subordinates chosen to oversee those departments. They voted to appoint him their leader. Interestingly, he hadn't even attended the conference because he was feverishly trying to orchestrate a more orderly withdrawal and restabilization, reassure and uplift the troops and surviving officers, and replace killed field commanders. He was stunned to learn they promoted him to #1 rather than his military mentor, Shorin.

Synergy of the Model and Strategist

So, this is already far longer than I envisioned, and if I recounted all of his noteworthy achievements and moments this would be at least 3x as long. But, a major reason I wanted the two aspects of him juxtaposed in one commission is, his erotic modeling and performing endeavors and abilities lent themselves extremely well to his military strategist career. Another reason is, the two roles simultaneously and beautifully co-exist and augment each other. These notions perhaps seem completely absurd when pondered superficially, but it truly is realistic and rational for those things to be so. It's not some ludicrous and inscrutable story or plot device one might see in an anime.

As Supreme Strategist, he's not just a military-industrial overseer. He's the face of the war effort. He's the supreme organizer and cheerleader of the nation. He has to endear himself to the populace, and persuade them to sacrifice what he, the military, and the war, ask of them. He has to give press conferences, confer with staff, manage departments and agencies, bolster morale through visits and events and such, etc. Most of this on fundamental level wasn't new to him. He had extremely ample experience in front of cameras and in the art of persuasion as a model, and he's naturally highly suited for speaking to people and appearing on cameras. He also gained interpersonal experience having to select and collaborate with other models who had their own needs and wants. As the CEO of a business in that field, he gained experience leading and coordinating various people and departments. He had to persuade other entities to sell his products, and promote or hire his fellow models. He had to manage and allocate resources.

Models, performers, and entertainers are fundamentally photogenic and charismatic morale workers. Their personalities, clothing, appearance, and other traits excite and enchant other people. They must excel at endearing themselves to others, and at gratifying the needs of others, to be successful. In many respects, both careers of Roketsune's are similar. But his femboy model career/personality directly bolsters his effectiveness as Supreme Strategist. Takomenians don't hold it against someone if they're a flamboyant prancing femboy- they actually love it! So, when he flamboyantly dresses and carries on in much the same manner as he did as a model-entrepreneur, it only helps his appeal to the populace and the soldiers. Conversely, his new role and his effectiveness at it make people want him as an erotic model even more.

Finally, his model career is intertwined with his military one in another way. His experience, assets, exploits, and contacts from his first career can and are utilized by him to help maintain civilian and military morale. Takomenians are very attached to their favorite models and performers, and the latter are very welcome to entertain and uplift people in various ways. Roketsune has a vast business, and a vast number of professional contacts and employees, to utilize and exhort to assist with morale. He personally does some of these sorts of events and promotions, and other times does impromptu shows and stunts on the flagship or at other HQs. He exhorts his employees and the profession in general to assist in making the lives of the populace- especially combat troops- a little bit nicer and happier, and to contribute in other ways. He's functionally the chief morale officer of the nation due to his clout and personal assets.

So he became basically a Prancer-in-Chief for Kantaria, someone who's both a femboy performer and commander simultaneously in many regards. In fact, he'll sometimes casually peregrinate on the flagship or main headquarters bases wearing his ordinary civilian clothes- occasionally he'll be completely naked. He routinely and blithely has extremely intense erotic affairs with subordinates who strike his fancy and vice versa, such as his flagship's vulpine femboy bridge communications officer. In fact, some of his newer models are from his various headquarters (and naturally their debuts are huge because she or he is yiffing the Supreme Strategist- some actually prefer to watch these sorts of pairings)! But he never appoints unqualified people for anything, and keeps himself in check by routinely consulting and listening to his staff. He knows when to be a goofy and adorable prancer, and when to be a dead-serious commander.
