Boy, this is a weird one.

I managed to twist this mercilessly out of Zbrush 3, but it's definitely not built for rendering... obviously, my render didn't look anything like this, I painted on it for about 3-4 hours.

The book was great, the movie was shit.

Dead-on about the kind of literature I like to read and my inspirations, though. http://www.antiquetrader.com/upload/contents/290/field...

"The book was great, the movie was shit..."

Movies never do a book Justice. Alot of detail is left out most of the time.

In this case, casting Will Smith and making it an empty Hollywood summer blockbuster devoid of plot and with 1-dimensional characters was not the most reverent move ...

A bit of a frightening image, to be honest. Like something was broken beyond repair.

I go on here and find this. Glad I did, it's really quite beautiful. <3
The lighting and shading is just so smooth and brings out all the detail! Love those wires.

Love it, would love to see it rendered how you hoped it would turn out.

Looks like a cyborg at least in part, aniborg? as in an animal/furry cyborg? very interesting looking in either case. I like it.

Damn... that gave me the shudders as it reminded me of the... well... The Yu-Gi-Oh! Card of Dark Necrofear.

A female figure who looks much like that, holding the broken remains of a doll...

I really love artwork like this, and seeing that it's in an "experimental" pool is really impressive to me. I love seeing this kind of artwork being produced through experimentation, because it really shows how a person is playing with shape language, color, and content. Very well done, it's so interesting. Works like this are some of my favorite kinds of art. <:
