Profile
Mostly I am a poet. I am also a writer of short stories and as of late I have been progressing to the full length novella format. This last part is very new to me which means at times it isn't easy to do. In my living situation I am a closet furry. Their are few places I can express my love for the artwork and a lot of the people I know would frown openly at my interest in this art. I found that out the hard way growing up when I came by an interest in such comics as Spider Ham, or Captain Carrot and the Amazing Zoo Crew. I was even severely harrassed for having copies of such comics. My interest wasn't a sexual thing, I just enjoyed the unique story lines and the idea of alien species based on alternate species becoming the dominate one for a world. Who is to say that on some planet we haven't found Rabbits looking similar to these comic creations don't exist? If we are, as Darwin said, descended from apes, why not a planet were the people are descended from Rabbits, or even a hyper intelligent species of fish? We are not the only creations in this world or this universe their is simply too much out there for that to be the truth. The church has always said we are the center of the universe and chose to say that anyone saying different is a heretic. they even break the word of the founder of their own religion with persecution of anything different. I firmly believe their is no one true way no matter what you personally may believe.
As long as they do not try to remake me into their beliefs I don't really care what they think. I look at the furry world as a case of what might be elsewhere in the universe. I look at it as an example of tolerance that small minded individuals are incapable of believing in or understanding because they refuse to live with an open mind. We are all different and because of that we need to let others be as they are not try to make them into our ideals. What may work for one person may be death to another, let each person live to their own desires in peace as long as they do no harm in that search for self understanding.
