I spent the weekend tending an old dog we've had practically forever named Hunny, Golden Hunny. The poor old girl passed away around 6:30am this morning in my arms. all weekend she refused to eat and couldn't keep anything down, not even water. I tried to take care of her in the best way that I could till her last moments. I stayed up with her all night, every night since Friday when she started to slip away.
In the last few months we've lost two dogs. Suzie was put to sleep because of cancer and she had stopped eating. Now our oldest dog has passed away in my arms and both are gone. Sometimes its a hard world out there. The hardest part is when their gone.
