Having lost his mother and father, Max Thrash was delivered into Tail Hollow Orphanage, a run-down establishment in the HappyTown district of Zootopia. Lacking funds and general maintenance, the orphanage went neglected and forgotten as did Max. Growing up with autism, he was a bit of a loner and separate and apart from his fellow orphans. They bullied and teased him to no end for his 'weirdness' as they called it. He endured this for years until he lashed back and got injured for his troubles of defending himself. It wasn't until later that Murana came into his life and adopted him out of that hell hole and brought her in as the second son to her family.
I've seen kids get bullied when I was in school. I never could figure out what they got out of doing it except for their twisted idea of "having fun".
Sometimes you would think some kids would have been better off if they were born and raised in an underdeveloped country with a high illiteracy rate, where there was no opportunity to go to school... ...Never seeing the inside of a school classroom in their whole life and growing up to be among the ranks of the illiterate locals.

I established this character and worked with his owner to help highlight a condition that many people don't seem to understand. So I hope to do justice to those with autism in the way I portray him in the story I'm writing.
