Maximiliana ("Maxi") is the Dark Princess of the Dark Child kingdom of Casila.

As the daughter of a bandit king, whose father has long passed and whose mother is now a succubus, Maxi is halfway between a lady and a beast-woman. She often speaks brazenly or applies simple, brutish solutions to problems, and her ideal public event is to slap entire roasted hogs and flagons of alcohol on the table and sing songs of meatheaded heroism, drunkenly and off-key. Her uncouth nature puts her at frequent odds with Arietta, Dark Princess of Ars, who prefers elegance if not pomp. Despite this, the four Dark Princesses treat one another as sisters, and Maxi and Ari have an excellent dynamic when hunting together.

Maxi becomes bashful in more social circumstances, where she cannot solve problems by chopping them in half with her axe.
